6/10All the meats were overcooked burnt and dry. Very disappointed as we had really good meal here 3 weeks before. I likely to eat here again now. The meal was a gift to celebrate my 80th birthday

5.5/10It was quiet cold many of the customers sat with their coats on. There was no lettuce or sliced onion on the salad bar, we waited a while to eat served with our drinks. The main meal was okay

5/10Short staffed: Ordering Slow: Drinks arrived 20 minutes after the first course to arrive. First course Skewers order then told not available. Dessert order 2 x treacle pudding, then told not available 15 minutes later. Order bitter shandy, pub does not serve bitter. Honestly a poor very poor experience, won't be rushing back any time soon.

7.5/10Was OK the salad bar was almost empty . I guess it gets refreshed . But I think they had issues with lack of staff so I guess its usually topped up or monitored more with full staff as today they were having to stop serving at 1930 due to staffing issues. The floor around some tables needed cleaning . Again I'm sure down to staffing levels the food was OK and the girl serving us was nice and worked off her feet Wouldn't rush back tbh

9/10I always enjoy dining at the harvester, preferred it when I could help myself to salad bar, staff was friendly and always asking if food was OK and if we need anything else, lovely evening out

10/10Absolutely lovely evening with yummy food and staff who were friendly and efficient. We arrived hungry but only had a short wait before we were taken to get a salad bowl and the main meal arrived soon after.

10/10The Talbot, It does what it says on the tin. Its good pub grub in a nice atmosphere. If you get the simple things right, its a winning combination. Cheers

10/10Excellent service food served on time and perfect temperature, only downside was plates were cleared before everyone had finished eating which made my wife feel uncomfortable as shes a slow eater
