6.5/10We went at was clearly a very busy time. The staff tried very hard to please but I think the shear volume of food requests made the meals presented looking rushed and not very hot, the chicken I had had been cooked to being very dry and chips tepid. The salad cart had been almost emptied and the eventual top ups looked less than appetising.

4/10Salad bar was almost empty and staff didn’t do anything until people complained. Ice machine was broken for drinks, toilet needed cleaning, service was slow

10/10Despite a miserable wet night with visitors we enjoyed our meal and waitress was lovely. One thing that spoilt it was the main meal was served within 5 minutes of us having the salad bowls which meant we had to leave the salad. Suggest longer time between courses.

10/10Tasha was our waitress, she was lovely, polite and very helpful and kept my cups of tea flowing. Chef Tracey - 2 x classic breakfast and 1 x eggs benedict - food was banging and she even cooked the cajun chicken I ask for with My breakfast (it was part of the brunch menu) Thank you was a lovely breakfast 😋

5.5/10Food was fine, service was appalling and the building is in a shocking state. Buckets catching water leaking from ceiling, toilets were disgusting and dirty and the area by the toilets smells of damp !! So, don’t think I will return

8/10They seemed like they were short staffed. But our waitress did her best our meals were good except what was described as coleslaw was just cut up salad with no mayonnaise with the chicken stack? The salad bar is always good and we got our coleslaw from there.

7/10The service was good, my wife's food was not as hot as expected, mine was OK. The sweet which we both had, mine had a plastic container lip piece in it. The server apologised and took them of the bill. No harm done, but what if I had been a child....

9/10We weren’t very happy with our visit, they had workers in deblocking the toilets! It smelt horrible and 1 table asked to move. Not a very nice experience.

4.5/10Easy to book. Greeted straight away. Service was slow. Seemed understaffed. Restaurant was quite dirty. Food at salad bar didn’t look fresh. Prices seem expensive for what it is. Food was okay. Even several times before but feels very tired these days. Wouldn’t return.

3/10It was a very disappointing experience. The service was incredibly slow although our waitress was ok. The food was mediocre but although ordered, no garden peas were put on the plate. The garlic bread was dry and hard with just a slight whiff of garlic. I doubt we will return in the future.

7.5/10It was quite busy and noisy, lots of child noise but that's ok at a family place. The portions were a very good size and most of the food was delicious. The salad bar was well stocked and our waitress was very friendly.

4/10We go frequently and have never received such poor service. Arrived 10 minutes before our booking. We're not acknowledged for 10 minutes. Finally seated in what seemed like chaos. Salad cart could have been tidier. Service was slow. Just not their usual great service at all. Felt like the staff were very disjointed.

10/10The waitress was brilliant, she recognised my boy struggling. And placed us, in a quieter area, made sure. He was comfortable, spoke directly to him. And told me, if he struggles I can box up. She made his day, as she was lovely.

8/10Our ‘go to’ restaurant to meet up. Normally excellent. On this occasion the salad bar was noticeably lacking in variety and quantity and the sauces were almost empty. Service didn’t seem up to its usual standard but the food was good. We will go back and hope for the usual standard to be in place!!

5.5/10I had the mixed grill the steak and black pudding were so overcooked you could not cut them with a steak knife and the gammon was under cooked lucky there was a salad bar chips were cold. Very disappointed, service was good only saving grace.

8/10A nice dining place but very busy. The food is great and what would be expected of a Harvester as they ALL serve the same menu. The food was well cooked and presented. It was very busy and there seemed to be less than the normal number of staff present leading to delays in ordering and a slightly longer wait for the food to arrive. Not overly so but noticeabal. We have dinned there many times in the past and will, no doubt, dine many times in the future. Hopefully they will have sorted out the staffing by the next time.

6/10Everyone’s meal was very nice and they enjoyed it, however I asked for a medium to well done steak and my steak was nearly cremated and I couldn’t eat and enjoy it. Also the toilets were out of order which is not good. The waitress was very good and helpful. This was a shame as I was treating the family for my son’s birthday

5/10Had terrible service from Chloe, who preferred to chat to her friends at the bar. After receiving our drinks & food we were totally forgotten about. Had to get attention for more drinks/menu for desserts/ bill. She also never once checked about food allergies. Probably won’t be going back there again

8/10We cannot fault the staff for their friendliness and good service. The food was nice and arrived at our table still hot and very satisfactory. My only problem is they sat us by in window which had a gap or something letting in a draught. Not nice on a cold november night.
