9/10Our waitress was superb, helpful & friendly. Food was delicious & well presented. We did book & arrived 10 mins early but were seated immediately. Place was clean & welcoming. Had a lovely relaxed lunch

3/10To be brutally honest from when we walked in to being sat down was fine we was put on a table that was really drafty so asked if we could be moved so they moved us and to be honest that wasn’t much better . We got our food and 3out of the 4dishes that came had to be sent back as they was totally over cooked to the state we just couldn’t eat anything that was on the plate the 4th dish was so small it looked like there wasn’t hardly anything on the plate and to my opinion wasn’t very good value for money I personally had the scewers and to be honest there was all but a plate full of peppers and very little chicken and it was that dry it was pretty burnt you just couldn’t eat it the other 2dishes was the simple chicken that came out totally overcooked very dry and just about warm to be honest the whole experience of the meal from start to finish was totally appalling and I certainly wouldn’t be using the fork aka the harvester again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

8/10Shown on to our table promptly and our server was very pleasant. Portions for children were ok and they did enjoy the brownie but it would have been nicer with some ice cream. Nice coffee.

7.5/10The food was as usual very good, no complaints. But the service was not as good as usual, maybe short staffed or the time of day we came as it was busy. But will continue dining there as the above was unusual.

7.5/10A side plate for your roll would be nice. The plate for the chicken skewers was ridiculously small and needed a bit more chicken, fewer peppers with perhaps some onion and tomato.

2.5/10It was freezing in there had to keep my coat and scarf on as did other dinners the whole time . Food came out cold had to as for it to be heated up just not a comfortable or pleasant experience.

2/10Husband had mixed grill all meat undercooked. Peas was fine egg still slimy Salad bar looked as if food had been there for a month! The only positive thing was the lovely waitress Sky I think she was called was very understanding and kind . Will not be returning ever!!

3.5/10The venue was freezing cold, which made the whole experience awful. I had to keep my coat on and still felt cold! We selected from the festive menu, the food was dry. Not enough gravy and vegetables were hard. I had salmon, which was overcooked. Overall a very bad dining experience. Definitely won’t be returning and won’t be recommending.

9/10We had a lovely waitress who was friendly, accommodating and patient. She looked after us very well. Food-wise, the deep fried items were quite greasy but the choice of food was extensive and other dishes nicely prepared. It was my first time there for years and the recent refurbishment plus Christmas decorations made it very attractive and enjoyable. Good to see it busy on a Monday lunchtime.

6/10I ordered BBQ chicken stack and the chicken was over cooked, dry and practically inedible. The staff were friendly and I was given free drinks because of the chicken. Won’t be in a rush to go back

4.5/10Very excited to see the redone establishment - but very disappointed that there was no longer a 'lunchtime menu'. This meant our bill was about 20-25% higher than normal. Our good was ok but no more than that and the sweet potato fried were tasteless. Also the sweets/ puddings were all expensive - though delicious! Having gone there at least once a month for lunch over at least the past couple of years, I think it unlikely we will bother again, unless the lunch menu returns perhaps. We have always liked the parking, the staff and having a decent and reasonably priced meal but unfortunately no longer.

4/10Service was slow. Had to ask for our drinks as they were not given before food arrived. The salad bar…. The bread rolls had ran out and when replaced they were stale. Found this happened at the last visit too. Butter had not been replaced when jar empty, had to ask staff to refill. The combo meal was nice, but used to get more ribs a few years ago. Gutted still no original kikin garlic sauce we used to get in a pot! Overall, really disappointed, seemed understaffed and staff were rushing around looking stressed and unhappy.

8.5/10There was a nice feeling in the place and staff made us feel very welcome. Author looked after us this evening very polite and nothing was to much trouble. The only thing that let the food down was one of the puddings,which was ice cream with berries, before it got to the table it had melted into slush ,not great and tasted very bitter. We did explain to Author who went and spoke to the manager and it was taken off the bill. Thank you again.
