When I arrived to tell the assistant manager of my booking for the round table for 6>15 on Monday 24th June she informed me she had not received the booking from Fork but would do all she could to help me as people were at the table, Fortunately, we didn't have to wait for long Very disappointing that the email booking didn't get through to the restaurant

Have been going here for years every time we visit Bushey The staff are so homely & helpful & so brilliant with kids ; serving the kids meals a few minutes before the adults Nothing is too much bother for them The restaurant is clean & enjoyable

Our starters were on the Kitchen hot counter for 10 minutes in our full view , I approached the manageress, Saskia, and she was no help at all, I'm writing to the CEO of Mitchells and Butler today. My wifes salmon main course was dry and overdone. Most dissapointing. Great salad bar!

The food was very nice. Great improvement on the salad bar. Disappointed with the dessert. 6.49 fo a berry sunday. Came up in a small sundae glass and very little fruit.

Nice table, but it took a while before our order was taken. Once our order was placed then service was good. Portion size for the main is great and food tasted ok. Nice place to visit if you want a festive meal.

Staff at The Windmill are very welcoming on each visit. The layout of tables is excellent so you do not feel clustered. The value for money on the evening deals is fabulous- as well as having the salad bar option included. Great value, great service.

One ordered rare steak, it came less rare than liked. No fuss. Waitress took it away and another steak was prepared. She asked to stand by whilst he cut into the replacement to make sure that it was to his liking. It was. But that is what I call "service". Well done.

Manager was welcoming and we were shown to our table quickly. Waitress was professional, just had to remind her about the drinks and she apologised for the delay. Food was generous and tasted very good. Well done and thanks to the chefs, was better than our previous visit.

The service was great, however not the same could be said for the food which was at best absolutely awful. Salad bar just not the same a bygone days. Breaded mushrooms were mainly just fried bread with very little mushrooms and lots of hot nasty liquid inside. My burger was cremated but had obviously been left sitting on the side for ages as it was also stone cold. My husbands cod was just a plate of tough boney overcooked something that passed itself off as cod. Honestly one of the worst meals we’ve had out since lockdown lifted. Shame because it used to be ok and the service was lovely. We will not be returning.

I found the food very average. I had the fish cakes and the salmon inside was cold. The restaurant was very stuffy and uncomfortable. I was happy to leave!
