8.5/10We popped here on a whim for breakfast on a Sunday, having seen it on The Fork. A really lovely building with open views over the grounds and countryside beyond. The cooked breakfast was good with the mushroom and sausage in particular being excellent.

10/10It was our wedding anniversary and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening, the food, the service the venue, it was everything I could have wished for. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

10/10I have had a lot of cream teas but I must say that this is my favourite ( other than the Ritz!). It’s great value for money, excellent selection of cakes and sandwiches and friendly staff in a comfortable environment.

10/10The members of staff were very friendly and helpful. One member of the group did not like cheese so she was given her own personal cheeseless selection of food. the food was delicious and also plentiful. We felt that the staff couldn't do enough for us including giving a full description of the selections we were given and the fact that the tea was topped up as soon as we ran out. Excellent all round.

10/10My friend and I ususlly have lunch about every 2 months on a Monday. We are widows and it's lovely to be in a quiet restarant so we can chat without loads on noice. Nobody pushes us and the ladies are very polite and quietly go about their job. It's nice to know that we have found the day we choose and the venue excellent for our purpose.
