6/10Food was very tasty. Usually we have a couple of drinks and couple of plates. Last night we ordered 6 plates which all came so fast it was mega rushed , in and out in 50 minutes. We only ordered 1 cold dish which arrived last which we found funny. Drinks and a nibble yes full dinner date night less so

6.5/10The Humble Grape is a good stop on a wine tour or flight after work. Food is OK although the steak was tough & sides meagre portions. Knowledge of service staff for wines excellent & recommended choices taken. Service for food could be better including quality. Fork promo was applied.

9/10The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, the staff were very welcoming, plus the restaurant is dog friendly which is a bonus. My friend and I enjoyed the Sunday roast, which had a nice selection and was served hot!

7.5/10The complementary wine tasting was a very nice touch. We also ordered a chacuterie board which was very average - could have made a better charcuterie board from Tesco! But very friendly service and a cute ambient place! Great place for casual wine, not so much for the food.

10/10lovely venue on the waterfront at Canary Wharf. We had the steak and seabass which were both delicious. The waitress was so nice.

7/10I expressly booked this restaurant because it was closing at 10, and I knew some work colleagues could only join at 8:30. The restaurant required a credit card number at reservation time (a practice that I firmly dislike), and the small print clearly said that there would be a penalty of 20 pounds per person in case of cancellation in the last 48 hours (which is exactly when you would need to cancel if something goes wrong). About an hour before my booking I received a text on my phone, which I paste verbatim here: "we usually take last food orders around 8.30pm and close the kitchen at 9pm". If I knew that at booking time, I would have chosen a different restaurant. Instead they took the booking, and told me when it was too late for me to do anything about it (including informing my colleagues). Besides, if you're open till 10, does it really make sense to close the kitchen at 9? This has caused me a lot of stress, because the dinner was very important to me. This is unacceptable!

10/10We chose this venue because it is "dog-friendly" and, indeed, the staff certainly made our dog feel welcome. Actually, the staff were brilliant in every respect - special mention for Alex. The food was absolutely delicious! A great place and we look forward to our next visit.

4.5/10The food was bad. I ordered a steak, roasted vegetales and a chicken Harisa starter. I had to ask them to put the chicken back on the grill as it was not done properly. The steak... oh my days, you can tell the steak was not fresh... And, to make it a 3 strikes out of three, the vegetables were dumped in oil. The service was good, the staff is very friendly.

10/10+2Service was fantastic. All staff were very knowledgeable in the wines and very good recommendations. We went for the flight of wines which is changed on a monthly basis. Ours were all south African wine which were lovely. We went for a number of sharing plates, cheese croquettes, squid, beef kofte, lamb chop, padron peppers and chips. Desserts with matching wines were lovely

5/10Sadly, our first experience of the Humble Grape was not a good one. Despite not being very busy, the service was incredibly slow and, despite not referencing it on the menu, the lamb ragu came coated/cooked in Parmesan cheese and I am dairy intolerant. My partner said that this would the overwhelming flavour of her dish, and when my replacement came, it was surprisingly lacking in flavour. The time taken to deliver the two courses meant that we didn’t have time for dessert. On the plus point, the starter of calamari and chorizo was very tasty, though even that was slightly marred, as my partner’s dish was not hot. The manager was quick to acknowledge that our experience was not as it should have been and very kindly comped the meal, so I can only hope this was a one off experience, which won’t be repeated next time.

10/10Great service from arrival. Good menu choice to cover all dietary requirements and hunger levels. But of course the wine list is all encompassing. Every staff member was attentive and helpful with their advice and service. And the booking through The Fork was effortless and integrated.

7/10tables felt too close for comfort. The wine selection impressed, but the food, aside from a tasty flat iron steak, was average and overpriced. Options for vegetarians were also limited. Overall, the quality didn't match the cost.

7.5/10For the price I must say good came disappointing. We ordered flank steak medium done but it was dry. The lamb ragu was ok but not extraordinary. Only few pulled lamb was given. The crispy cauliflower was okay but I have tasted better.

10/10In search of a place to fill my stomach and wait for an appointment on a chilly day, I casually chose this restaurant, which turned out to be a delightful experience. The restaurant was clean and tidy, the waiters were friendly, and the food was superb! The first spoonful of soup made me feel genuinely happy ☺️, and I couldn’t resist ordering a main course – a steak with salad. The grains in the salad were unexpectedly refreshing and had a subtle sweetness. I originally planned to take it to go due to time constraints, but I couldn’t help but finish it all, one bite after another. When it was time to pay, there was a barcode on the table for convenient scanning and payment. It’s perfect for someone like me, always in a rush to get to the next place but can’t stop eating. I believe I’ll be coming back, perhaps to try their drinks as well. It’s a fantastic place!

10/10Great recommendations on wine from the v knowledgeable staff. Monday is a good time to visit as in house bottles of wine are discounted to take away prices. Selection of sharing small plates were ample. Definitely will visit again.

8.5/10Best thing going for restaurant was Massimo as he was an exceptional host. A splendid selection of wines and Friday night camembert with roasted hazlenuts was delicious, as were the small main plates of venison and chicken were okay/good - chutney was too sweet for the dish. An apple dessert was disappointing with only two biscuits and less than spoon full of apple. The madeleines were toasted and somewhat better. We would consider returning here mainly due to the excellent wine selection.
