10/10First time at the Hungry Olive and will certainly come again. Food was great - try the Lobster risotto starter - amazing. Worth heading back just for that. The ambience is relaxed but smart. Am told that they have live Jazz Friday and Saturday nights and can imagine it is a great setting for that.

10/10Great food, ambience and service. Good starters - we had tomato salad and the chicken skewer which seemed pricey (just 1 skewer). Both the chicken and the sea bass were excellent with the respective veg accompaniments and we enjoyed the desserts. The rose and white pinot grigio were good quality. The 50% fork food discount was appreciated, as otherwise our bill would have been well over £100.

8/10Beautiful restaurant and enthusiastic staff (who perhaps needs a bit more training) Food quality is excellent but cooking of it is below par. The spaghetti in my main course of scallops and monkfish was SWEET - not pleasant. Also you only had ONE piece of monkfish in that dish. The fillet steak was excellent quality but served blue not rare - cold inside. Overall it’s got the makings of a great restaurant but needs to improve to justify the prices
