2/10I cannot recommend this restaurant, unfortunately. I had reserved a table to celebrate my birthday with two friends. Upon arrival, we were told that no table was available for us. We were offered to sit outside (in December!). The staff also offered to get us a table at their other branch in Pimlico, which is 25 minutes by bus from the Islington branch. I decided to not go there because I think it is incredibly bad service to send customers away that have reserved a table to celebrate an event. I also will not go here again.

10/10It was great! The food was unbelievably nice. the wait staff were lovely and patient (eapecially when my friend was accidentally at the Iberia in Pimlico) and the Georgian tunes in the restaurant were amazing too. The staff showed us how to eat the famous bread and cheese and egg dish, and didn't make fun of us for not knowing what we were doing! It was really welcoming and nice. I loved it and i am recommending it to everyone i know!

4.5/10Service was poor. Waited 15 minutes to even order drinks, then starters came for another table before ours, when they arrived 10 minutes after us (they had one of the same starters as us, maybe it confused the tickets). A bottle of sparkling water was served warm, we had to ask for ice when we realised. Eventually the hot starter turned up (The khachapuri with egg was tasty, but a bit dull on its own when we were waiting for the other starter), and then after 15/20 minutes we had to remind them to bring the cold starter, which makes no sense... The mtsvadi (pork shashlik) was ok in parts, but tough in others. Too expensive for how it was. Glad they don't automatically add service as saves the hassle of discussing it after a disappointing experience. Wouldn't recommend, sadly, and I love Georgian food. Think a bit of focus on basic service stuff could have made it better, too many errors.

6/10Rather expensive for what they offer, and not really great ambiance, inside or on the terrace outside. It was ok, but we were a bit disappointed and do not feel like we will be rushing back.

8.5/10Loved experiencing different flavours. Extremely tasty. Will go again to try other things. Service was slow as forgot about us a couple of times but the staff were charming and friendly.

10/10We loved the dumplings and the mez starter. Michael was a great host and gave us an amiable Georgian reception. The chacha shots were also delicious! A must visit in Islington

10/10Delicious food: we had the trout with plum sauce, Nigvziani Badrijani, lobio and kachapuri. Everything was really nicely seasoned. Presentation of dishes was lovely. The service was delightful. With drinks came to just £25 each so very reasonable.

3.5/10Unfortunately, it was disappointing. We waited for 40 (forty!) minutes for the first dish! (The final arrived an hour and twenty minutes after we ordered it.) The food was mediocre, which is very unusual for a Georgian restaurant. Also, it's pricy for this quality.

10/10Amazing little Georgian gem - be aware, food portions are huge (which is what we were hoping to find and loved). The staff was extremely gentle despite being a Friday busy evening. Would recommend it 100%
