10/10Really nice ambiance and atmosphere for a small but busy restaurant. Food was absolutely amazing. Lambs liver was cooked to perfection. Service was polite and jovial. I'd recommend Il Giardino.

8.5/10My Mum and I had a lovely evening here. Food was delicious and service was spot on. A traditional type restaurant which is so much nicer than the big chain types imo. Definitely would recommend 😋😊

5.5/10service was slow, I appreciate they let us know to expect the food slow but we only ordered pasta, it took an hour, and the restaurant was not busy at all, there was only 2 other tables at the time we ordered. other people were getting their food before us, we felt ignored, it felt uncomfortable because we were the only black people there. we even had to walk up to the counter to pay, even though we had the bill for ages no one came to take payment. food was okay, ambience was nice but service was abysmal.

10/10My husband had the most amazing calzone, they put an egg in it as they do in Venice and I had chicken valdostoni with sautéed potatoes spinach and mushrooms. It was soooo good. We had wine , coffee and grappa and the bill with service was under £70. Beat that! Best meal in ages. Staff are lovely too. Place hasn’t changed its decor since we first went in the 80s but who cares. It’s quirky and clean. Love it.

10/10The entire set up was exceptionaly proessional in all aspects, i selected the retaurant at ranom to be taken to celebrte my 86 th birthday.By one of my sons and his partner not only did they make us very welcome from the off, but during the later part of the meal thay lowered the lights and the etire resarant with the staff sang happy birthday whch really made my day. Further to that event a couple at the next table to us brought me a brandy, totally outof the blue, we arrved at 7m and left at 11pm. turned out for me a most excellent birthday. yours faithfully Jeff Barnett.

10/10Lovely staff, we celebrated birthday there and they helped me to prepare a dessert with birthday message on the plate, even sang birthday song for us. Food was amazing, definitely come back again!

The restaurant itself it's gorgeous in a traditional way. Charming. And the service cares about You. But for a restaurant that greets You with a note on the table mentioning "Homemade,traditional Italian Food made with love and care", the dishes were slightly dissapointing. Maybe next time We should give the pasta a chance(looked nice). The pizza had a Good dough, but the toppings were flavourless, including the tomato. And the asparragus as starter, were too small in size(i am aware of how expensive they are ;)), even if the cheese on them was tasty & great. The dessert though, was the most disssapointing, that cheesecake was the kind you buy frozen and defrost before serving...and the limoncello i'm sure was not from a great brand, as it was bland by all means. We were an Italian Woman and a Spanish Chef. We are saying all this with respect&from the heart. Cronstructively. We STILL RECCOMEND THE PLACE!!and we'll come back for a plate of pasta!
