Can’t fault the speed of the service. However the food was quite bland and greasy. Added to that we were put next to a table where lots of young children were dining. Except they weren’t dining all the time, they were running around and rolling on the carpet. Spoilt the whole experience for me. Parents - control your kids when you’re in public please!

I would not advise this place. The service is virtually non-existent and uninterested when it does appear, the food deeply mediocre and the bill high. It was a very disappointing experience for my son's 11th birthday. I would advise trying outisde Chintown for a good value and pleasant dining experience.

The food is very good! Eking duck is moist and different from other Chinese restaurants. Lobster noodle is fresh and delicious!

Not been here for a while, now wonder why not. Food, service and general atmosphere were very good.

Loved the food. We had dumplings and spring rolls, although the dumplings arrived halfway through the meal, but they were delicious. We also had the prawns where some of them are deep fried, and some of them aren’t, they were amazing. Chicken, chow mein, pork chops in salt and chilli (excellent), pork with cashew nuts and roast pork. The only thing I was surprised at was the roast pork was cold. Maybe that is purposeful, but I didn’t expect it, but it was still delicious. We also had an amazing bottle of rosé which was lovely. It was fairly expensive at £210 for five of us - three kids and two adults although we did have a bottle of wine and a beer and some soft drinks. I absolutely loved the meal, and we ate almost every morsel. I used to go here about 20 years ago, and I loved it then and I love it now! The service was very polite and attentive and very quick! Definitely recommend it as it is slightly tucked away. Very good quality food and it has got a little bit of poshness about it, if you like that sort of thing! Nice round tables with tablecloths, which I guess is not necessarily traditional, but it makes it special

I had been here once before with friends who come regularly so when we decided to met some visiting Australian friends Imperial. China seemed a good choice for a very tasty and authentic Dim Sum lunch. It did not disappoint - the restaurant is spacious and we were able to eat our lunch and chat without feeling we were on a conveyor belt which can happen in restaurants who are keen to cram in as many customers as possible. Service and food were great.

Fair restaurant, a bit overpriced. The best part is that it's not crowded and a bit less obvious than the closer ones in Wardour street. Might be back, but not dying to do so.

The best on the menu is the Crispy and Peking Duck with pancakes, and Roast Porkbelly (Charsiu)!

Food is excellent; however just sat down on a 3 pm reservation and were told kitchen would close 3 30 so "rush your orders" They should warn this upon reservation

Very enjoyable dim sum lunch, which was also reasonably priced at around £15 per person (only drinking green tea and no alcohol). Service was friendly and our food did not take long to arrive. Would certainly go back.

Nice entrance with a little bridge over a pool with carp. That probably used up the decor budget as it's a bit tired inside. Quick and efficient service, plenty of waiting staff. The food was all OK but nothing stood out

Allowing a young child to blast their iPad at one of the tables wasn't great. Annoying. Parents not bothered at sound level. Food ok. Pricey for what it was. 5/10 this time.

We ate around 7pm the restaurant was quit busy, I went with a friend I hadn’t seen for over 15 years so wanted to catch up. Unfortunately there was a large table of mixed couples, they sounded northern and were very loud and didn’t stop swearing. We ordered a set meal £35 each, the mixed starter was very small and tasteless, the duck wasn’t shredded at the table and in my option was under cooked and the mains were okay but the sweet and sour pork was over cooked. The environment was nice and the service was ok.

Friendly waiter and waitresses. Food was good. Disappointed with wine serving. We asked for a second bottle of the same wine and the waitress gave us one very different and insisted only the packaging was different! They were from different country! Got the right one in the end. It did spoil our evening a bit!

The restaurant offers authentic Chinese dishes. Perfect for families and groups. We always go here for food with big groups and never did they disappoint. They were even kind to give us a candle for the cakes of my friends who were celebrating their birthday.
