2/10We had look forward to having baby crab and also scallops both of which weren’t available. This was due to the holidays I believe. We decided to eat elsewhere.

10/10A great place for small group gatherings. Excellent food quality at reasonable price. The curry beef stew is exceptionally delicious. Will definitely come again.

4/10Rude waiter, sticky tables. Frozen dim sum at the same quality I could get and steam myself, and the tea was a terrible excuse for tea - bland and weak, tasted like the tea you get to wash dishes with back home. Definitely not worth the price

8.5/10Second time to the Imperial City for dimsum lunch. This time was much better than the first (we did not repeat on some dishes that we thought were not so good from first time). The restaurant looks and feel good, except you can smell some oily smell from the kitchen. Service is friendly and efficient. We had beef ho fun and singapore noodles, both good. I would recomend aromatic duck with pancakes also, this was nice, and good that for 3 of us, they gave us 6 pancakes. of the dimsum we had, the roast pork cheung fun was disappointing, you only get 2 strips (in all restaurants in london chinatown, cheung fun comes in 3 strips), the roast pork buns are not so good in taste either (from our first visit). But overall I would recommend visiting, it is a little more pricier than london chinatown. They also charge £3.50 per person for chinese tea.

8.5/10We liked the food and decor. The service could have been better timed between the first and main courses. One or two dishes could have been better seasoned. We will be back though!
