Ama-Zing! Ok, apologies. But this really is a sensational restaurant. Service was brilliant and incredible attention to detail (I can’t eat fresh coriander and each dish was tweaked so I could eat it). Food was beautifully flavoured and the meat quality was excellent. The staff were charming and when i asked for doggie bags to take home the food I couldn’t finish they added a rice course! Above and beyond excellence.

We don't understand the glowing reviews for Indian Zing. It's ok, but nothing more. It's just an average Indian restaurant, with densely packed tables, reasonable service and decent food. It does not warrant the premium prices it charges. Quite disappointing actually.

Our 3rd visit to Indian Zing, when we are in London for a weekend. The food is fresh and delicious and our American friend loves it too. We live in Wales, so we know a good curry house and this one is one of the best.

Excellent food as usual but there was a large table of 11 people near us which were pretty noisy and on top of that there was also ambience music which made it nearly impossible to hear ourselves speak.

It’s August in London so business is always slower, but the chicken and vegetable dish I think had been previously cooked, chicken was very dry but sauces were good. We were first in the restaurant early evening so to judge ambience in the restaurant would not be fair but it did fill up a bit. We use this restaurant fairly frequently and on the whole it’s usually good. However there are so many good Indian restaurants places like this need to keep standards higher at all times .

As for the food, it was mostly really good. The curries and the breads were out of this world. The desserts were very nice too. However, the shrimps tasted very old and overcooked. Furthermore, the daal was slightly too thin and very garlicky for our taste. Regarding the service, the gentleman who seemed to be the owner was very delightful. However, the rest of the service was slightly too pushy and inconsistent. Haven’t said that, we have already booked it again for tomorrow as overall it was a pleasant experience.

The staff was really helpful and welcoming. The food is excellent with a variety of options - both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The staff was proactive & suggested the best options as per our preferences. Definitely recommend.
