Cosy place, excellent and friendly staff and really good food. I would recommend musaka, calamari and chicken skewers. Pita bread also amazing.

As others have reviewed - little gem of a family run restaurant. Very pleasent & sociable host, good selection of food, nicely presented & served promptly. Very enjoyable. We were lucky enough to be able to eat outside at 7pm due to resent heatwave, a rare treat in UK. We would definately return if we lived in the area.

Very sparse , clinical interior with poor decor and no AC; looked more like a canteen than a restaurant. It looked that very little effort and imagination had been applied to preparing and presenting the food even though their menu included some of the well known popular dishes. My anticipation of savouring some of my motherland ‘s favourite food did not materialise with some of the ingredients substituted by inferior alternatives. Small bottle of Mythos beer was at Mykonos prices!

Really sorry to read your comments. We keep our restaurant simple and decorated in the manner of a Greek simple restaurant and we seem to have managed that as you mentioned. Our beer includes 20pct vat makes its price 4 pounds net. Price of the same bottle in Myconos 15 euros. Also regarding the quantity of our food it seems that the empty plates you were sending to the kitchen were telling a different story. Maybe if we would have gotten your lovely wife the vodka she requested things would have been different. Looking forward to see you again.

First time ever and boy was it good! Such a welcoming place - George the owner and his staff really take pride in their food and service. The food was outstanding - it’s genuine home cooked food and huge portions. On a summers evening eating Al fresco, it felt like I was in Greece! You will not be disappointed. Definitely try the saganaki and the pastitsio.

Incredible experience. This really is a hidden gem. Personalised service, greeted by the owner himself. Friendly, prompt staff with delicious wholesome food. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you for such an amazing evening! My fav was the grilled Halloumi and tzatziki for starters ???? and the portokalopita (orange sponge cake) for dessert. Divine!!!!

Disappointing. Moussaka was served completely alone, a little salad garnish would have been appreciated, especially for the price, £17. Odd that the roast lamb just came with chips. Though they were quite tasty, herby chips, just not very traditional. Again, no garnish or veg of any kind. . £5 for a very basic tea, served with some inedible oat balls for some reason. I suppose an excuse to charge £5 and the oat balls can be reused somewhere else. We got 20% off which tbh was still very overpriced for what was a very basic almost cafe style restaurant. No discount is applied on the tea either, usually the no discount applies to alcoholic drinks only in many restaurants. Anyway, suffice to say, I will not be going back and not really sure why the general reviews were so high.

Dear Sir. I am sorry that you found our food overpriced. Our prices include 20% vat so your 17 pound lamb actually costs 14.5. I do not think you can find this kind of portion anywhere else. As for the mousaka I do not think it comes with a garnish.. If we add a salad to.your dish that would make it soggy if we give you a side salad you will have to pay for it. It's a shame you did not enjoy your experience on the basis of side dishes or vat. A real shame

Leg of lamb was very bland and unseasoned, so rather disappointing. The Sea Bass was much better but only one small fillet served which was rather less than usual. Bread provided was cold and not tasty. Overall not up to the usual Fork standards…
