Good restaurant, lovely food and fast service. What was lacking was ambience, it was super bright and felt a bit fast foody and we were placed right next to the kitchen with a trolly full of dirty dishes but besides that, it was good. A different table and less bright light and it would have been a 9.5

Izakaya has become our new favourite place to eat when visiting Bristol, really nice to eat at an authentic Japanese restaurant. Feels like a home from home, have been a few times now and always get excited to try something different. Such a good choice in sake too. Love. Love. Love.

Fabulous little restaurant, very polite, friendly and swift service and the food was excellent. My family of 5 had eaten and enjoyed every morsel of food on our plates and would definitely return.
