6.5/10I ordered Sakura Wagyu Steak and Asparagus as a side dish. It took more than 60 minutes to get the steak and guess what? They forgot the side dish!!

5.5/10Grossly overpriced. One would expect something special for what one has to pay. Inner seating offers no creative ambience. Wine list rather of snob value. Barely any choices below £1000.

5.5/10I was waiting for more than 20 minutes to get a table while there were many empty tables, i had my reservation and showed it to them but they were looking for my reservation on their system and couldn’t find anything in the end. although I showed that my reservation is confirmed they let me wait and keep saying that they don’t have anything under my name or email. Unprofessional.

5.5/10Overall the Connaught was ok, but it could do with some improvements. Its a lovely foyer into the hotel, especially as it was Christmas with a fantastic tree and lights everywhere. However, there were absolutely no Christmas decorations or festive ambience in the restaurant even though it's a 'Festive Afternoon Tea' which was disappointing. The room is quite small and as of the layout, your table will have the main chair backing onto two other groups so it can be very loud as your sitting back-to-back. There didn't seem to be enough staff either as you had to wait a long time to flag them down, though you could see them running around trying to help as many people as possible so that isn't their fault, more management for not hiring enough staff. It didn't have the same feel as other afternoon teas in 5* London hotels; the crockery was basic, you poured your own tea, had to flag down staff to start the next course, our first pots of tea arrived lukewarm so when the tea went cold, you'd have to flag them down and wait 20 minutes for a new pot.

10/10Jean Georges is one of my favourite restaurant in London. Excellent food, Excellent service. Chic with great ambiance. Special shout out to the sommelier Bernardin for his amazing suggestion of 2011 Domaine Georges Vernay Cote Rotie Maison Rouge.

8.5/10They keep me waiting for half an hour to check the system for my reservation and they told me they have nothing in the system! Then they told me they will try to find me a table after i show them the reservation e-mail.

6.5/10The restaurant is attached to the hotel. So the clientele are a mix of those out for lunch who have made an effort and those waiting for a taxi to the airport or off to a meeting. The restaurant itself is a little worn and in need of some tlc. The service was good and attentive. The menu was unadventurous to put it mildly. However the food was good. But at the equivalent price you can have a much better lunch elsewhere in London.

4.5/10The venue is very nice, the service as expected. I am vegeterian and it was mediocre. The truffle pizza was nothing special at all: Small and oily. I am Italian so I know what a good pizza is and that was not a £35 pizza. The starter was a kale salad and could only taste the vinegar. The other people at the table said their food was good expecially the polpo starter but nothing special. It was definitely not £400 worth dining experience, absolutely not. Really disappointed and will not go back or reccomend to anyone for the restaurant. The hotel cocktail bar instead is great for drinks.
