The food and atmosphere were both exceptional! The service was first class, I even had to remind myself to leave the wine bottle alone as the waiters or waitresses were very attentive and poured every drink for us! The food was top class and this restaurant definitely deserves its number one spot on Cheltenham’s Trip Advisor!

An absolute delight! From the thoughtfulness of the presentations to the textures and flavors of each course wrapped in an engaging atmosphere of lighting and visual contrasts, our culinary journey was matched by a memory-evoking musical journey! Beginning and ending with personal visits from Chef Jeff and reveling in Kenni’s passion for our wine pairings throughout the evening made for a gracious and unforgettable experience.

Amazing restaurant with excellent food. The best desert I have ever tasted. The chef was amazing and came to the tables and presented food. Can’t speak highly enough, attentive staff. Will be going again

Simply sensational fine dining. The ambience and service was sublime but the food is the reason to go to Journey. The tasting menu of around ten courses were all exceptional and the wines delicious. It is definitely a special place made so by special people.

My wife left a review on trip advisor outlining what she felt about the food. Rather than taking on board her critisms the chef decided to blame the review on her trying to cancel the reservation. In fact it was myslf who had tried to cancel the day before for personal reasons. I was politely told there would be a 50 pound cancellation fee per head. I asked if i could think about it and ring back which I did and told them we would be happy to continue with the reservation In the chefs reply on trip advisor he makes out that we were somehow bitter about this and that we were trouble maker customers. This is just untrue. We were always polite to the staff. If one is asked if you enjoyed the dish i want to be honest and tell them it was too satly or sweet. The chef and staff at that point could have talked to us if they actually cared what their customers thought. The food just simply was hit and miss. Too sweet in places far too salty in others. There was a lack of care, subtlety and thought too often evident in the dishes we ate. The chef in his reply somehow thought that because we ate it we shouldn't complain. That is just a rediculous and juvenile attitude to take. He should put his ego aside and listen to feedback that is given in good faith rather than looking to redicule his customers online. .

Yet another insulting attack we see! This is the third platform you have done this on and, in case the irony has escaped you, it is the absolute epitome of bitter, to be perfectly honest with you Rob! You go out of your way to repeatedly insult the Chef personally, yet he has nothing to do with the review replies and is, likely, quite unaware of the existence of your vitriol, as social media pettiness is not really his priority, You could have chatted with the Chef at any time about the food but you seem to prefer being a keyboard warrior, but only if it’s one-way traffic by the looks of it. For the record, the Chef comes and speaks to every table - he spoke to you and your wife a total of THREE times on the evening and each time neither of you said anything by way of offering expert opinions on the food quality. It is very fair to summarise this by saying that we are definitely not the restaurant for you and you two are most definitely not the customers for us.
