The food was delicious and the staff were all very accommodating and friendly. However, I have a small complaint with the Fork website. We weren't aware there was a bar option instead of table so we were seated at the bar and couldn't switch. Apparently we should've been told ahead of time but I saw no option on my booking. A little annoying for a birthday celebration but otherwise we had a delightful time.

I only really enjoyed 2 types of skewers (gizzard and wings) and rest were either under seasoned or tasted not very fresh (Hearts). The duck ramen I ordered tasted horrible because broth was bitter and sweet at the same time. The mushroom was okay but over seasoned for me. I enjoyed their mocktails despite the slightly high price tag

The concept is a nice one it's all about the Chicken. And how delicious it was. Great knowledge from the waiting staff and so polite. You kind of know its a good Japanese restaurant when most of the other people are Japanese. Fabulous evening and the food was really good and well flavoured.

the waiters are friendly and food are great! rice donabe with crab is not in the menu but recommended by restaurant. It is very good. Overall is a cozy and quiet place to enjoy dinner.

Overall the food was good, but not worth that price point. Spent around £100 for two people and we didn’t order drinks. The skewers were ok but not worth the money considering it was only chicken that was available. The rice pot was probably the best dish that we tried.

Chicken heart skewers were undercooked. When I asked to cook more, they were nice to offer new ones and they were still undercooked. I ate there last night and now suffered from stomachache. Besides that, food was just average. Chicken breat and thigh skewers were good, mushroom was bland. Chicken and mushroom don: rice was slightly undercooked and some chicken pieaces still look pink. With this price range, it should be better!

Amazing food and experience tonight at Junsei. Particularly recommend the Sea Bream Donabe and the Chicken Skin Chips. Good atmosphere inside too. Thanks to Kshitiz who was excellent and attentive. Will definitely visit again.

The food tastes a bit bland but is healthy - the speed from food ordering to food serving is very slow - took about 2 - 3 hours to finish serving all the foods

This is a Japanese concept cuisine where you eat the whole chicken in very small skewers. Very delicate and beautifully presented, small cosy restaurant with view of charcoal roasting in kitchen. Enjoyable new experience. Quantity of food is small (similar to sushi), wouldn't suggest for a very hungry date or vegetarians but others do try if you want a different dining experience to the usual Japanese

Simple menu but done to perfection - especially the chicken wings and ice creams, which were truly phenomenal! We loved the roast green tea ice cream and miso ice cream - interesting flavours, but subtle and well balanced, also super smooth.

Yummy yakitori skewers, cocktails and beautiful decor. Duck donburi had tasty meat but perhaps too much rice in relation to meat. We will definitely be back!

The food was really good. Upon entering the restaurant, the smells hitting the senses were so inviting and the food did not disappoint. Tried a great selection of the small dishes and all were delicious. Really good cocktails too.

This was a new experience for us. We had been to many Japanese restaurants before all over the world including Japan but first time to a grill house specialised in chicken. I cannot comment on the meat-based dishes as I am vegetarian. However my two teenage daughters who are very fussy liked the Wagyu meat … a lot. As for me the tapas style dishes were lovingly prepared and very tasty. The place was full of Japanese guests so clearly the food must be authentic

Hidden gem - tasty food at fantastic prices (definitely try to quail eggs and the onigiri - super unique)! Waiter was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable about the menu including off-menu specials (definitely ask!). Wish the chocolate fondant was available - looked incredible on Instagram - will have to try next time!

We’ve discovered a real gem - fantastic experience from start to finish. It takes you on a journey through a million varieties of umami, the quality of food is exceptional and so fresh, it melts in your mouth. Amazing cocktails too which refresh you between mouthfuls of unbelievably tasty food. We ordered a mix of skewers, soup (came in a teapot!) and donburi bowls. We enjoyed every bite. Staff is super knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to ordering, the place itself is small but charming, and it benefits from the grill just behind the counter which you can observe while waiting for your food. 10/10, try it!

The food and service are good if you like Japanese grill, my favourite is the Chicken and mushroom clay pot rice, but they don't normally do it for lunch and may not be part of the 50% off deal, do check with the waiter before ordering.

Raw materials are high quality, but limited selection offering-wise. The menu is significantly overpriced, from very small chicken skewer (not more than 50g of meat each) priced £4.5+ to bottle of beer 330ml at £7.0+ and rice pot for £25.0+. The restaurant is really well furnished, with a thoroughly designed ambient - especially the lights are amazing. However, I genuinely believe that - even for London with annualised inflation rate at 10% - the prices should be materially revised. The target cannot be too lavish considering the location, size and overall offering of the restaurant. It seems they launched in Jan-21, hence why I believe they might be still a bit green in terms of experience offered vs. strategical pricing. Recommended if they restructure their menu!
