10/10This is the second time I've had this afternoon tea for a special occasion and again I'm blown away by the quality of the food (and the quantity) and the service!! It's so lovely here.

5.5/10We were sat opposite the bar area where drinks were prepared. Very noisy. Asked to sit somewhere quieter but was told the table was even smaller that we would be offered. Sandwiches were cold, need to be at room temperature. One of the Sandwiches/brioche rolls was soggy. Didn't replenish tea so was cold when we were eating the cakes. Not a great experience, expect better. Staff very friendly though. Would not go again and would not recommend.

7/10The staff were amazing, brilliant service. The food was visually stunning but a little disappointing, the sandwiches were not freshly made so had been in the fridge, a little bit soggy on the base as a consequence. The macarons were under done. Despite the eye watering cost tea refills were just hot water, no fresh leaves and any sandwich refills were charged. The venue was cramped, we were sat so close to the next table it was as if we were the same party, absolutely no chance of even a semi private conversation.

10/10The staff were all generous and kind. The food was delicious and fantastic fun. We enjoyed every moment and the fun set of three dinosaur themed cocktails. Thanks for all at Apero, the Jurassic afternoon tea was the perfect gift for my retired geologist husband's birthday. Thanks for a memorable afternoon.

Having tried the magic afternoon tea a few weeks ago the jurassic just didn't compare. Not only was it dearer, the food although ok was not such good quality. A shame. I woukd also suggest to the hotel that if a children's party is taking place the children and parents stay in the party room. We have about 8 very noisy 9 yr olds and their mums who were nearly as noisy in the lobby area. On the positive they did provide the staff are very friendly and helpful. In comparison the price needs to be reduced.

We had a wonderful time but wish the food was more normal such as tuna and ham and may being able to switch things around!

6/10I had allergies and though the kitchen and staff was very accommodating, the food was a little cold when it came out and the presentation happened so quick I wasn't really able to take it all in. The kids got this cute little dinosaur tier tray and honestly, I would have preferred that because you couldn't really see the dinosaurs on the plate unless you ate all the food. overall a nice experience, but I would have preferred no prefix meals and let us alacarte pick especially because the price was so much.

4.5/10Food was actually not that nice, had much better afternoon nibbles at other locations in London. We were not offered more than one pot of tea during our whole experience. The room in which the afternoon tea was held was dingy downstairs and unwelcoming.

3.5/10The taste of all the items served were sub par. For the amount of money spent, each item should have been beyond excellent. Only 2 items in the adult tea (regular and vegetarian combined) were decent. The desserts were lacking all flavor. The presentation was great but the flavors were lacking in all the items.

If spending £60 on very average food is your jam, go for it. Included is a 30 second period of dry ice wonder. If however this is 'splurge' item, don't. Go splurge somewhere else. Once the smoke is gone gone you're left with stale sandwiches, scones with poor quality preserve and cloyingly sweet desserts. The restaurant itself is underground and unimpressive, but clean and cosy. We were greeted by a completely indifferent manager - no eye contact, no smile, not even a 'hello'. Our waiters, thankfully were much nicer. Overall a skipable affair.

The afternoon tea had some of our best bites in London. Although the scones were a little dry, the salmon was so amazing. The dinosaur sandwiches and cookies were adorable and tasty. Our kids loved excavating the chocolates. The presentation was a showstopper with all the colors, shapes, and working volcano. For the adults, the tea was equally excellent.

9.5/10The food was fantastic and we went as a group of adults, so don’t think this is just for kids! Value for money was very good in comparison to other afternoon teas in London. The service was very good and the staff was genuine, patient and friendly. We had a great time!

The hotel was easy to find, once we arrived the staff was great, it was our first tea time and they explained their menu. My 3 boys had a great time and everything was delicious.

9.5/10The staff were incredibly accomodating and explained the menu and our chosen tea thoroughly. The drinks being served throughout the meal were a clever touch. The food was of high quality and the restaurant itself was clean and well presented. Would absolutely go again.

10/10All the food was so delicious and prepared with such care. Definitely worth the cost when you see all the little touches that have been added to keep in with the theme. Service was brilliant, very attentive service and no problem at all to have refills on sandwiches and plenty of coffees. Handled the allergy very professionally and with care and consideration. Thank you very much to all the staff and for being so kind to let 2 old friends catch up and stay probably well over the allotted time. Compliments to the chef

Food was very good we had the vegetarian Jurassic afternoon tea. Service was ok but kept having to ask for drinks rather than be offered them. I went with my teen daughter the ambience was ok but nothing special the staff didnt seemed delighted to serve despite the service charge.

9.5/10The Dinosaur Afternoon tea was amazing . I knew my boys would be impressed but the adults loved it too. The food looks amazing but also tasted amazing. The scones were still warm when served which is the mark of a good afternoon tea to me. It was a lovely experience. We will remember this for a long time .

5/10Sandwiches and desserts lacked flavour - for example the beef sandwich would have benefited with some horseradish, and the tarts really lacked any sort of flavour. The macarons were inedible.

8/10The food was all great, delicious sandwiches and the scones are always fantastic here. The service is what let it down, it’s inconsistent. Some members of staff are fantastic, really go the extra mile, others basically ignore you even when you try to get their attention. It means service can be very slow at times. Overall though I would happily return.
