Service is charming at this smart, easy-going basement restaurant. It’s name means ‘Story’ in Urdu; the story in question being that of chef-owner ...

Excellent food, really good quality. The chairs were a little uncomfortable but the service was super quick. Good atmosphere.
Very lively ambience, diverse menu, well prepared food, attentive, polite and friendly servers and an excellent overall dining experience
Birthday celebrations. Loved the food service and ambience. We went for the six course tasting menu with matching wines. Not cheap but well worth the dinning experience.
Outstanding food, excellent customer service. Smart but relaxed enough for any occasion. Probably the best Indian restaurant in London. Very surprised it doesn’t have a michelin star of its own. look forward to going again! Try the venison keema and lamb curry!!
Delicious, beautiful food! Service was attentive and professional, excellent wine list and the decor is lovely too! We will be back ????
We had a great meal at Kahani. The food was delicious and the staff attentive. I’d recommend the samosas and the chicken curry.
The food was fantastic nothing to complain, I only give three stars to the service, because I was over charged in more than one item. It’s sad, that a rest. Like this offers 50% on food, but after over charge you on drinks. I order to start 2 glasses of Rose £6 each, I was charged £12 each, I preset a bottle of champagne £30, I was charged £50, plus, Duo dal,; poppadum & chutney;, that in didn’t order another £12 in total I was over charged £44 in a bill of 155.81. So sadly I’ve to say the good experience was 5 starts, but is not a place to go back.
Fantastic food and service. The desserts were to die for. The whole experience was really good
Best Indian food in London ! Everything was perfect, even better with TheFork discount
The food was delicious but it is the service that was really outsanding! We had the most fantastic person in charge of us, his name is Dev, we went for my daughter's birthday and he made us feel very welcome and made the ocassion a very special one with his professionalism and warmth.
We had the most amazing night! Some of the best indian dishes we ever had - strongly recommend the black chicken, biryani and tadka dal. The team was also so lovely, a great time altogether
Great place. Good food. Definitely recommended. The menu is different from any other Indian restaurant and the service is excellent
AMAZING FOOD! Mrs Akhil our waiter, he was very professional and very helpful on serving and suggesting us with a perfect knowledge of the menu. Thank you so much to the chef Peter Joseph for the amazing food and an amazing culinary experience and give us the opportunity to take a picture all together!❤️ Unfortunately we do not know the barman, but the cooktails were perfectly made.
Excellent food and very good service. Thank you very much. Will definitely visit again.
Staff is super friendly and good memory (they remember me and it was my second time only!) food exquisite as always. Hygiene is great and above. I would say it’s 2 Michelin stars quality overall!
The brunch menu was phenomenal. I can't fault any part of it. Dessert was definitely my favourite!!
Amazing food and staff. They were so helpful with food intolerances and the atmosphere was lovely and dishes were delicious. Top class and recommend to anyone. Definitely going back!
