10/10We had a red letter experience, the food was lovely and the staff were attentive. It was a lunch so the restaurant was quiet other than another group having lunch, but I thought that made it more special 😊

10/10We booked through the Time out voucher. The two of us had to share 8 starters, one main with rice, dal and Naan, plus dessert. The food was outstanding. Very tasty, authentic, delicious and right amounts. We were confused about the sharing part and the drinks amount. Even the cocktail, wine and cobra beer were excellent. Highly recommend Kanishka to anyone. Best of all the music wasn’t loud at all, staff were attentive, and we throughly enjoyed our meal.

3.5/10The service provided fell far below expectations, with an unfortunate combination of lackluster food, impolite personnel, and frustratingly prolonged wait times for your meals. It is truly disheartening that such a restaurant failed to deliver the level of excellence one would anticipate.

9.5/10We were a party of five celebrating the anniversary of my daughter's successful brain surgery. The food and service are extremely good although the wine was very expensive. We were shocked, however, when the music stopped and the lights were turned up high at 10.30 pm as the restaurant was closing. It soured our enjoyment of the evening.

8.5/10Food was very good, rabbit starter which is apparently new to the menu, was excellent. Service within the restaurant was good, very attentive and knowledgeable; unfortunately let down by the welcome on arrival (for clarity i do not mean the hostess welcome once inside the restaurant); to have to squeeze past staff smoking/vaping at the front door is disappointing and doesn’t set a great first impression.

10/10Been twice now. Both times we had the tasting menu with the wine flight. Food and service really good. The wine flight is spectacular. The pairings are really well suited to the dishes. We will be back!
