The Kathmandu appears to be under new management, food was serve in smaller portions but it was actually quite good except the cheese naan that was supermarket quality. Nice quiet atmosphere, good heating and the new colour scheme makes it cozier which was really nice.

We were very warmly welcomed into the restaurant. It has a very pleasant ambiance. Such beautiful and enchanting deco. Very tasteful music, which to my ears sounded like the music of shepherds in the mountains (with a sweet high pitched flute (bansuri) quite prominent and melodious. We were so relaxed enjoying a nice glass of house red (merlot). My friend utterly and completely enjoyed her Nepalese Chicken Johl Momo dumplings dish. The texture was light, not too chewy, tender chicken sitting in a very flavoursome soup. I thoroughly enjoyed my Tandoori Fish (Trout) with Basmati steamed rice. So very fresh tasting with delicious spices. We also had a Dal Saag side dish which absolutely complemented both of our dishes. The staff are lovely and the restaurant is beautifully kept in the dining area and restroom. Easily one of our favourite Indian restaurants in the UK.

We visited for a birthday and it was great. We were treated very well and for 7 people having food a drinks, the bill was very reasonable. The food was fantastic and we would highly recommend the Momo’s! Thank you Kathmandu
