10/10We were looking for an Asian restaurant in the Kensington area. This restaurant did not disappoint. The friendliness of staff on arrival. The amazing choice on the menu. The staff were also very helpful with regards to choices we made as to how hot or spicy our dishes were. This restaurant is a favourite of mine & I hope to go there again the next time I’m in London

4.5/10The food was pretty good but unfortunately the service was quite bad. The wait staff seemed completely overwhelmed and disorganised. We didn't get our drinks until after we finished our starters, despite trying to ask for them and being completely ignored. The service was so bad that everyone at the tables around us was talking about it and making awkward eye contact with one another. We wouldn't return simply because of the poor service, even though the food was alright though not the best curry we've had in London.

5.5/10Food was ok although one of the dishes had a hair in it which we should have complained about but we were in company The restaurant has a policy where they had service charge to you bill and then in addition on payment ask if you want to add a discretionary tip with various options of percentage which leaves you feeling negatively towards the restaurant as it will catch people who haven’t read their bills sufficiently.

4.5/10Tables were too close to eachother and not very stable. Service paid no attention and didnt seem interested. Food was decent, we ordered butter chicken and it tasted like the classic butter chicken. Naan bread did not taste much.

10/10The place is small, but the ambience is nice. The service couldn’t be bettter and the food was delicious. Only down thing is they only have alcohol free drinks, but you have all kind of savoury drinks without alcohol instead.

6.5/10The food and atmosphere were okay. However, there were not enough service staff, so we had to wait quite a while to place our orders. Also, the women's restroom was horrible. One was broken and the other had paper stuck in the toilet bowl. Other than that, it's a good restaurant where you can eat delicious Indian food.

5.5/10Food quality was reasonable, location is fantastic (seconds from South Ken tube station). Service was slow but very polite, though despite having a closing time of 10:30pm, we were (politely) shuffled out of the restaurant before 9:30pm! Very disappointed to find out upon arrival that all drinks are non-alcoholic (this information is nowhere to be found on the website or advertising material). This should be flagged up and made clear before confirming the booking.

6/10So I have been going to Khans since the early 1990s (yes, I'm of a certain age) and, sadly, have to say that its star has dimmed substantially over the years. I was excited to take my family this Christmas holiday to a restaurant that had long been a favorite. The first thing I noticed was the perfunctory service of the staff. While still very efficient, they seemed to have lost the "spark" that used to make Khan's so enjoyable. They seemed, frankly, robotic in their interactions. Long gone were the smiling, cheerful staff who's first objective was to make sure that you had an enjoyable visit. My first hint that the food would not be as good as I had experienced came early with the delivery of the PAPADUMS. The chutney was watery, bland and ill-flavored. The rest of the food we ordered was also insipid and uninspired (PUNJABI VEGETABLE SOMOSA, MEAT CHILLI STIR FRY, TANDOORI MUSHROOM MASSALA) with the sole exception of the MURG TIKKA MASSALA which was as good as I remembered from previous visits. Finally, while the ambiance of the restaurant remains the same, if a bit tired, the toilets were a messy disaster. For me, this was just a final example of a restaurant that is mailing it in at this point; relying on their past laurels. Kahn's has become just an average restaurant in a city with many other options for Indian food.

10/10Well worth the time taken to find this restaurant . Seconds from South Kensington underground station this incredible Indian restaurant serves food you can only dream about. Every dish cooked to perfection, generous portions at an affordable price excellent service with friendly atmosphere. Though spacious it is advisable to book in advance. Don't expect to be encouraged to linger if busy.

7.5/10Great food, but when choosing something to drink with it, we (a party of four) were horrified to see that all drinks we were considering (wine, beer, etc.) were non-alcoholic! Going out to dinner, I would usually expect there to be a choice of alcoholic and alcohol-free drinks available. If there was anything on the website or booking form to say they had decided not to serve any (real) wine and beer at this restaurant, I would not have considered it. I saw nothing. We were politely given the opportunity to leave after we'd ordered food and voicing our disappointment when it was pointed out that all drinks were 0.0% Alc, but family had come up from Brighton, we had met after they had been to the Oval for the Test Match and we didn't have time to find anywhere else to eat before they had to return. Fortunately, the food was excellent – but it would have gone down very well with a couple of glasses of wine (and I do not mean fruit juice!). Overall, although the food was great, I was very disappointed.

4.5/10Never been before, but the welcome / service and friendliness of the person serving us will mean we wouldn't go again. Came across abrubpt / rude: finger pushing menus at us / no eye contact no attempt to offer basic hospitality. In terms of the rest of the experience, starter didnt arrive, they just proceeded to bring the mains/rice to us, not a word and no eye contact or check back,. cleared our sons meal away while in the toilet :-( - Clearly trading on location, worse service I have seen in an any restaurant aside a well known fast food shop - food quality was ok, but not amazing enough to compensate.

5/10No impressed with service, the food came out quickly and portions were small. Mixed grill was small and suitable for one person. No alcohol is served or allowed on the premises, we wasn’t aware of this when we booked. Overly priced for what you got.

8.5/10After dining at the many new wave Indian restaurants in London, I just wanted to find a traditional restaurant with fresh spices, good ingredients and friendly service. Khan's ticked the box on all three. Will go back.
