Only THE BEST Thai restaurant in London. Have been consistent with food quality, flavour, service, portion sizes, and ambience ever since we first went 5 years ago. Have been many times since. Gorgeous location too for an after dinner stroll.

Kinkao Thai was excellent as always! The staff were incredibly accommodating, and the food was delicious—full of authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The ambience was warm and inviting, making for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend!

10/10Everything about this restaurant is 10/10. I rarely give such high marks on the Fork website. The location is wonderful on the river (and it easy to get to - a short walk from Island Gardens DLR); the interior of the restaurant is very special with is carved wood and fish pond and the food is very authentically Thai. Portions are generous, so the value is amazing. All these things are the reason we keep going back. We have been to Thailand, and this is one of the only places in London where the food tastes as good as in the country. The location, even on a winters day, feels like you are on holiday for the day! We will keep going back.

I am buying an apartment at St David's Square imminently and wanted to try out Kinkao Thai which is adjacent to the apartments complex (in fact it is part of Consort House).. Brilliant restaurant.. I enjoyed the service care and the ambience within the restaurant... and the food was excellent.. Can't wait to make this a regular eatery once I have transferred properly from Hampshire to London!

10/10Wonderful restaurant overlooking the Thames with a great atmosphere. The dumplings were delicious and the red curry very satisfying. The food is very reasonably priced and service excellent. We will definitely be going back!

2/10Do not go to this restaurant. We chose the lunch menu. The starter and main course were served on the same plate and were tasteless. We ordered drinks which were served after we had received our meal. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

4/10The chicken was dry and so was the beef. The service was not great either. The starters we ordered were the sharing platter, but the satay chicken was dry. My beef in the main course was over done and dry, it was one of the chef’s specials! Not great

10/10Kinkao never disappoints. Amazing food, friendly service, it even brightened up the otherwise dull and cloudy day. Shout out to Arjina for her helpful and amazing service. Thanks for making it a memorable lunch day.

Really fun ambience with a lot of attention to detail. Food came quickly and there was a whole vegan menu. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we thought the food was really tasty. Good portion sizes too, we had enough to take home after.

9/10We have been dozens of times here and the food is always very authentic. Portion size is good too and wines reasonable. It's our favourite Thai restaurant in London and easy to get to from Island Gardens DLR. When the weather is nice, it's super also to be by the river. The restaurant has a 'holiday' feel and perfect for getting away from the hubbub of the City.

6.5/10First visit. Unattentive and disrespectful staff. Visited with a disabled family member. Front of house staff member rushed one member of the group to a table before realising that access for the disabled person was a problem due a high step over a humped bridge over their fish pond. Zero assistance given at the beginning of the end. Nice decor and clean menus. But several people got served before we did, who arrived after us, we should never have to wave people down with arms all over the place to get served. Lamb shank was not fresh. Which came out at the same time as the starters, which should have been a tell tale sign. The masaman curry was too salty, and you typically get better elsewhere. The Tiger Beef was overtly stringy due to poor quality cuts. The mixed platter starter was good, apart from the wings. Presentation was good. Overall, the staff were a let down, and were rude upon departure. The quality of food vs price was unfavourable.
