The afternoon tea most certainly lived upto expectation and followed the Secret Garden theme immensely well. The intricacies and delicacies of the food was very well executed. Service was a bit rushed, and in the end were asked to clear our table despite there being enough tables for the next seating.

Our experience was terrible ! Three of us went for my baby shower . Service was horrible. Sandwiches and desserts were not fresh, there were fruit flies on them . Worst experience of an afternoon tea considering the price they command .

Had Afternoon Tea at Kona which I booked a few weeks in advance. Customer service before the day wasn’t great - difficult to get hold of the restaurant and team and when I could get through was hardly getting any decent support. On the day of the afternoon tea, we were stuck in severe train delays which meant we got there late. I called them to advise them of the situation and the service again was a bit abrupt. Luckily we managed to get an extra twenty minutes at the end of the time a lot - but definitely wasn’t the ‘high end’ service I was expecting. A bit disappointed with being rushed and the rudeness of the staff

Extremely expensive for the food we received. The quality of the food was really good, but it was all served at lightning speed - way too fast, little time to enjoy the food before the next bites would come - and we only were given a single pot of tea. I expected more, it was severely overpriced.

The restaurant and staff were lovely. But your food let you down particularly the Vegan food We made sure the restaurant knew 3 of our party were Vegans, I phoned as well as detailed on booking The Vegan food was poor, The Vegan scones, broke into dust when you try to cut them, so uneatable There was no Vegan cream The other cakes were mostly inedible I think you have made the vegan and gluten free food together which is lazy and isn’t nice The price of £75 per head should have been of a higher standard When we asked for extra sandwiches although the server made us feel fine about this, two other staff did stand quite near to our table an discuss this loudly making some of my family feel uncomfortable We are disappointed, if we had not had Vegans you would have been over priced by passable

This was such an intimate, dazzling and unforgettable experience. My first time having afternoon tea, what better way then in the heart of London at the Taj. The tea, the treats and the service was superb, 10/10 would recommend and return.

Went to the Taj Hotel fir their Secret Garden Afternoon Tea. Had not heard of this hotel group but what a find! The Afternoon Tea was fabulous. Great service and lovely surroundings. A lot of hard work had gone into this event. Well done everyone!

Simply divine. Excellent queens platinum jubilee champagne afternoon tea. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend it. The tea, the sandwiches and the cakes were the best!

The atmosphere and service was great but food taste and quality was absolutely atrocious. We asked for green chutney to go with our food at the "Indian high tea" but we're offered ketchup and mayo instead. Very disappointing.

Excellent setting, beautifully presented afternoon tea. Got 25pc off deal but it was still £70 for two. Don’t go if hungry but go for a treat. Be aware only a 2 hour seating and they started to try to move us along after 90 mins.
