8/10A basic venue but with keen prices (wine at £15 a bottle). Food was slow and not that great. They comped us a miso soup for the delay which was kind.

10/10Delicious food, the sashimi was super fresh and the fried pork gyoza were superb! Excellent and delicious sushi, the soft crab especially. Very friendly and attentive staff too.

9/10I felt Koto! was decent normal middle of the road Japanese- not great but certainly I saw no basis for some of the angry (malicious) reviews online, though other restaurants might do it better or have nicer decor at this price. The Fork discount made it much better value and we had a very good spread for the price, with warm service. Very happy with the discount.

10/10We love Koto, the food is made to order, so fresh and perfectly presented. The staff friendly and attentive. It is a relaxing and happy place, don't rush this experience, the best things in life take time. Best Sushi in Oxford.

2/10so you don't see the chef as is traditional in a sushi place, they prepare the food in the back. I joked to my husband they are just opening premade sushi packs and charging us 10x more (like the European. Vacaction movie)... food eh not so great. octopus appetizer really bad not much meat just a lot of glop.
