We had such an outstanding meal at L’assaggino last night. We have recently moved here and had family visiting and decided to try out a local restaurant. We were not disappointed! Every dish we scraped clear, so full of flavour! The service was excellent too. We really could not fault our experience and will be back (hopefully soon!)

Best and most authentic Italian I’ve had in the UK, the portion sizes were perfect, the bread and olives were great,both our main courses were amazing, the chocolate fondant for desert was great too! The service was good as they put a candle in the chocolate fondant as it was my girlfriend’s birthday and made it really memorable, I don’t have a bad word to say about this place! I loved it and look forward to going again!

An absolute delight! Adorable, intimate restaurant in Richmond. Perfect for pre-theatre or just a lovely dinner out. Delicious, home-made authentic pasta, superb choice, and creative starters and desserts. Very friendly and efficient service. Great wine list. Can’t wait to go back!

The restaurant was a lot smaller than it looked on the website. The building is really old (in a quaint way, this is its charm) very wobbly floor and a very narrow staircase. However it looks a little shabby in places. The food and service was excellent and very authentic Italian.

Foos and service was amazing, food also came out quick and the staff are super friendly. Loved that it’s a family run business and we also got some bread and olives for free as a starter. The special truffle spaghetti for dinner was the nicest pasta I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back
