Lovely setting. Would be great for special occasion dinner. Food quality was very good, but quite expensive for what we got. Service was inattentive and slow, even after we made it clear we were going on to the theatre. Ended up rushing the main course On top of that they added in a 15% service charge to the bill. We were now running late and so decided not to argue this. Disappointed.

Very elegant setting and delicious food. Topping it off was excellent service.

Tables are so small you bang your knees on them. Waited 25 minutes just to get a drink even though it wasn’t busy. Ask for a bottle of water, it didn’t come. Starters were delicious, but then waited 50 minutes for the main course. And asked again for a bottle of water. It didn’t come. Asked for ketchup to go with the fish and chips. And asked if we could order more wine. We finished our meal without ketchup or wine (or water). Despite having to get up and walk over to ask for service. They brought the bill over - with two bottles of water!

When my boss got to the restaurant she was told there was no booking. So please can someone look into this as she then called me. I sent the confirmation email and she showed it to the team and they said they were baffled. It now means I will have to call to check every time my boss has breakfast there which will be tedious to say the least.

Our meal started with an amuse-bouche and original cocktails. Both were delicious. We shared the roast chicken dinner. It was delicious and enough for 3! The service was good too. There was a DJ playing music. I would have preferred if the music wasn't as loud.

This restaurant is beautifully appointed. It is a lovely place to sit & spend time. The food & service were excellent. We have been there before.

Good menu choices Disappointing tuna tartaric with no wasabi soy dressing and my partner's steak tartare had no egg yolk. Chairs were too low and the background music was intrusive. Service was reasonably adequate This was too expensive and doesn't compare with high quality restaurants such as Le Gavroche

L' Oscar is a delicious find for my family. It has excellent food, service and ambiance that we would travel miles to find but it's right in our neighborhood! We are thrilled to have you as our neighbor and our friends. Gratefully, Luci and Ian

Food is awfully bad and very expensive for the taste. One of the worst quality of taste in London. However, dining room is awesome and staff are very nice and attentive. They should change their chef immediately to reborn their reputation.

The restaurant is very good . Food is usually outstanding. For example, my prawns were excellent by steak tartar was not really as good-quite tasteless meat and a very small yolk. .

Excellent service and food. Leisurely but attentive staff. Room is lovely. Accommodating to patrons needs and requests. Music didn’t always match the ambiance.

Nice place, good food, friendly, polite & efficient service. Bit dark, music a bit elevator-ish. Slightly over priced.

Was there for a business meeting. Very good space and whilst busy still had that element of privacy. One of us had the steak tartare and was described by a Frenchman as the best he had ever seen!!! In fact all the meals were superb. The service was appropriate to the occasion.

Beautifully decorated restaurant in the heart of London, tucked away in renovated church but now a boutique hotel. Dark decor not ideal for a restaurant but acceptable if you like that type of heavy Italian/ French type of interior decor. Food was tasty & beautifully done. Both our main courses were done to our taste . The sea bass was a piece thick & large & smoked aubergines & fresh basil sauce was good combination . We had Ice-cream & sorbet for dessert & that good too.

Lovely staff and setting, beautiful bar for pre dinner drinks, desert menu a bit uninspiring, we had a cheese plate that was nice but a little cool!
