    Good: The staff are friendly. The food is unique, with brand-new combinations that are new to me. I like the pairing with sake. Areas for improvement: The kale on the chicken breast main dish is burnt. The Vegemite or Marmite mixed with sesame ice cream tastes bizarre. It would be better to show the sake bottle or a picture of it to the customers.

    Milk Bread is very good with the butters, food is good. Selection is limited. We will go back

    Food was really good. Overall balanced, well presented and the service was top notch. Would definitely come back for the bread.

    The service and food were excellent, really delicious, and I loved sitting in front of the chefs, chatting with them and watching the prepare the dishes. However, I was not keen on the decor (which is a very personal matter) and even less on the artificial “hotel lobby” scent in the restaurant which really detracts from the food.

    La Bibliothèque is a lovely restaurant and we can't wait to return. There was a great atmosphere and the food was incredible. We had starters, mains and desserts and everything was pretty much flawless. Our servers were brilliant and the dining room was cosy and intimate. The signature cocktails were delicious as well!

    The food was for the most part delicious and inventive. Unfortunately, one of the main courses was bad, so that put a dampener on things. They took this off the bill, but we didn't manage to alert anyone until our dishes were more or less finished, so didn't have anything else in its place. A particular highlight were the drinks, the bread, and the desserts; which were almost savoury and definitely worth leaving room for. The service was warm and friendly, but at times was hard to get attention, despite the restaurant being relatively quiet. Also, quite a few finished drinks and plates were left on the table throughout dinner. There was a bad smell that wafted through every now and then. We think it came from the toilets downstairs, so I don't know if they could do anything about it. But definitely not what you want to be smelling throughout a nice dinner! All in all good evening, but for £300 for a three person meal, expected more finesse.

    Warm and cosy restaurant with delicious food and great service. The chefs/staff spends time introducing the dishes as they were served which we loved!

    Great food and service. Note there is a minimum spend of £45 per person (after 50% discount). We were fine with this but would’ve appreciated this being clear up front when making a reservation (had to check T&Cs after waiter told us about this policy). Table next to us left after being informed of this policy.

    The Confit Salmon with Juniper Buerre blac is the most special salmon you will ever eat. It just melts in your mouth and the sommelier Enico paired it perfectly with a charonnay. Squid (with wonderful consume) and pork belly outstanding. Beef tartare good with asuan touch but too salty for me. Throughout Enico was a superb host.

    Absolutely a great experience. Lovely food well served, well explained in our case by the chefs cooking in from of us. A proper unexpected Omakase experience. We will be back soon.

    The best salmon we’ve ever tasted. The dinner was impeccable start to finish. The music was unbelievably great and so was the service. Best dining experience we’ve had in ages. Don’t know why it’s not a Michelin starred restaurant. Also, the bar next door serves exceptional drinks as well.

    A wonderful unexpected surprise! For us, it is one of the best restaurant in London, it’s in our top 10… top 5 so far. We have a great selection of food and drinks, sitting at the bar we have been enjoying discussing with the chef and his colleagues. Thank you for sharing your insights and knowledge .
