9.5/10Food is absolutely delicious and good fun to eat - you soon see why there are so many serviettes provided! Service is relaxed and friendly and the food came almost too quickly. Best to order like tapas - one or two dishes at a time. We ordered everything at once and chomped our way through it all far too quickly. The drinks menu is great and we are looking forward to trying the tequilas on our next visit (post ‘dry January’). Ambience is a bit like a cafe - bright, plastic tables etc - but nice art on the walls and very comfortable. Young families and trendy students find it equally appealing.

The food was hit and miss. First, the tortillas are less than great. They are a bit dry, they break so they don’t hold the taco well, and they are bland. The carnitas tacos are really tasty, and although the meat is a bit wetter than actual Mexican traditional carnitas they taste like the real thing and come with a great salsa verde. The pastor tacos were really disappointing and bland, and the same goes for the costilla and vegan cactus - the cactus paddles used for the tacos seem to in brine, not fresh. The cacahuazintle corn on the cob was cold, the mayo had no taste at all, and it’s a shame they cut it instead of leaving it whole. The tres leches cake was so so dry, it needs to be fully soaked in the tres leches blend. The choice of beverages is limited, I wish they offered aguas frescas or Boing. Ambiance is nice with the murals but the music was horrendous and too loud. Great service, friendly and attentive.

10/10Taco Tuesday and Margarita Thursday's are truly something else. I'd really recommend throwing your napkin into the open flame tea lights on the table - really makes the night extra special x

It was the first time we went to La Chingada. The food was great - sometimes a bit too spicy (the sauces I mean). Staff were also very welcoming and they noticed we could speak Spanish so we did so with each other.

I think you could improve the vegan options. For example, tacos with beans will work better than tacos with mushrooms.

8.5/10Good flavours, we had a mix of food on offer that day - primarily tacos and some starter plates. For the price, Im not sure we would come back though - comparing with other Mexican offerings in Ldn we felt that the flavour combinations were lacking that extra that would make the food experience memorable and worthwhile to revisit.

5/10The menu is varied, but the food tastes rather bland and watered down. Its also very expensive for the very small portions you receive. Its usually busy so must be popular for a reason but I think on the brighter and more reliable flavours of big chains were better value and experience.

9/10Surprising little gem. At first I thought it looked like a simple cafe (plastic chairs and small venue). On closer look, it was small, but clean and neat. Service was good and food was lovely. Great artwork by one of the staff really brightened the place. Not quite the restaurant treat I had anticipated, but definitely somewhere we'll worth eating at.

7.5/10The staff were super welcoming , 1 wait staff for a full restaurant seemed very hectic. Food was excellent but we kept getting sent the wrong order and the final correct one did take 20-30 mins. They kindly took that item off the bill though. 2nd time going to this restaurant and the food is on point!
