10/10Why I live this place: 1 It’s a little cramped and chaotic 2 But it only adds to the atmosphere because the staff are so friendly 3 The food is honest and tasty 4 the deserts are not just an afterthought 5 The prices are reasonable.

5/10It seems elegant online but it turns out to be a very tiny place and so cramped that when other customers need to get in or out we had to move stuff on our tables to be sure they didn't knock things over. There was literally only inches between the tables. Some might consider this cosy but it might not suit everyone. We dined on a Saturday night and so there was a singer with a guitar. She was actually very good but so loud we couldn't hear the waiter and struggled to talk to each other at times; and we were quite some distance from her. The food was ok but not exceptional but good value. The waiter tried hard to sell us expensive wines and when we ordered something cheaper from the menu he said those wines "weren't available"! In the end we simply said we wanted a red wine for a specific price and they obliged. Summary: the cramped space and noise made it sub-optimal to dine and catch up with a colleague visiting London.

9/10I was impressed by the quality of our pasta dish and also by the salad. Although it might have seemed very simple, the salad was beautifully presented, with a good mix of ingredients and a tasty dressing. The pasta was also simple but well-seasoned and flavourful. Although a Monday night, there were many diners but the atmosphere was quiet and allowed us to have a family conversation without too much background noise. We'll definitely be back soon.

9.5/10Donny did a great job welcoming us to the restaurant, explaining the menu and offering a few recommendations. We ordered one of his recommendations and it all of it was delicious. He was also very personable sharing a bit about himself and the restaurant. I would definitely recommend La Cucina Di Daffy 2.

They did come to the door to greet or ask us to come to a table. I had to go up to them and ask. They sat us right next to the front door in a tight light corner. I ordered everything I wanted to order twice as the first serve didn’t bother to take down my order (she did ask what we wanted to order) the second waiter had to come and ask us. The clams served were closed!! The tables are sat nice. Food came at an average time. What was frustrating was that we came to eat 2 main dishes we saw on their menu on The Fork but they were no longer on their menu at the restaurant. Portion size was small. Most annoying part of the night was that thy were pushing us to leave as they had a big party come in and also that I had to ask them to add our discount. Most italian places offer bread to start and also cheese on some mains, not here. Ambiance was not great on the main busy street full of cars. Service was poor 2/10

10/10The food was really delicious and not overpriced. The drinks were a decent price too. We ordered an antipasti dish that had only been invented that day. The food was clearly all lovingly made and the pasta was handmade. The waiter was lovely, attentive but not too much. Just make sure to tell them you have allergies, as they didn't ask us and we had to reiterate it a couple of times (nut allergy).

The lady owner and her son were so friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the price is very reasonable. I will highly recommend this lovely restaurant to all my friends.

6/10Food was good and service pleasant however one waitress came up to us during our desert and coffee and said they had a booking for the table and we needed to leave - brought the bill and pay machine and people brought in to the table beside us and when there was a seat too few the waitress said”they are leaving” - so rude and we felt we had to leave without finishing coffee and desert- shame that totally spokit the meal as the food had been good. Had they offered to mocff Ed us tgat would have been acceptable but the bluntness and pressure to leave was not nice. I think there is a need for that waitress to do somff Ed customer care training.

10/10We had an amazing meal! The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. It's a very intimate, cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. The antipasti were wonderful, and we got five different pasta dishes. Arguably each one was the best!!! It was so good that we went back for coffee and pastries the next morning.
