It's quite simply the absolute best Italian restaurant I've ever been to (outside of Italy)!!! All the staff are incredibly friendly, and it's a lovely place to come to for an event, like a birthday, anniversary, etc. Cannot recommend enough!

A usual, the food, service and value for money at La Cucina were excellent. We have been going to La Cucina since it opened and they have maintained the very high standards they set from the outset. Everybody in Oxford should support La Cucina!

My wife and I visited the restaurant with our young son for lunch. They made us feel really welcome and made a fuss of our son giving him a goody bag to keep him entertained whilst we all ate. Our every need was anticipated throughout and when we needed to use the baby changing facilities they even made a point of giving it an extra clean to make sure it was ready for us, a lovely touch. We will definitely be coming back.

We have been to La Cucina dozens of times before but we felt very let down. The food was fine when it eventually came but that was 45 minutes after we ordered it and only after we chased it up several times. Ignore regular customers at your peril!

Warm welcome, long menu with extras on a specials board. We chose to share 4 starters which were all freshly prepared, generously portioned, authentically Italian and delicious. We then skipped straight to their dolci menu and chose their chocolate tart and lemon tart with peppermint teas. Delicious. The perfect lunch. Simple decor and quiet on a Wednesday lunchtime, but if you enjoy fresh Italian food, it's definitely worth a visit.

The service was amazing, staff friendly and ambiance lovely. All of this was only enhanced by the fact that our food was delicious, we ordered pizzas, pastas and risotto along with three desserts and everyone emptied their plate! They use fresh ingredients and offer gluten-free options (for a £1 add-on). couldn't be happier to have found this place!
