10/10We were extremely impressed with the restaurant. DO NOT be put off by the outside appearance before you enter the La Perla. It exceeded our expectations and the food was incredible and the owner that serviced us was super helpful and very informative. We will re-visit soon.

5.5/10The tortillas were terrible. They seemed to be all the same tortillas but with different toppings and did not seem freshly made. The chipirones were too big, much the same size as the calamares. The fritas prawns were not small, indeed all the prawns in various dishes seemed exactly the same. The wine list was very limited and lacked a Spanish bias. The music was too loud and , being ordinary pop music, did not create an authentic atmosphere. The whole experience lacked any feel of a connection with a proper Spanish tapas experience.

9.5/10The food was delicious and we really appreciated the variety of the menu, which included some rarer Spanish specialties. The service was good. The only negative remark is that the price of the paella seemed a bit too high to us, £44 per person is a bit pricey
