10/10It is a restaurant where you involuntarily tell them how good a dish was. In all my years of eating out, here and abroad, I have never come across a restaurant that is better run. It is indeed a restaurant for people who care about standards. Their vigilance towards food intolerances is exceptional, as seen in the care of one of my relatives who follows a dairy- free diet. A big thank you to La Trompette.

9.5/10I have been coming to this restaurant for years and every visit is an excellent experience. The welcome is warm and the attention to details second to none. Tables are nicely set and spacious. The menu is the discovery of seasonal products presented impeccably and tasting delightfully. On my last visit I tried the duck which was perfectly cooked and delicious. The sommelier is attentive and recommends if needed the best wine to enhance your choice of main course. The service is friendly but professional. One of my favourite restaurants in London where you are sure to be satisfied whether you go with friends family or a business meeting. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

10/10A simple yet imaginative menu, lovely and very helpful staff including an amazingly well informed sommelier, lovely food (every single mouthful), and a delightful, relaxed atmosphere. We might have been the last luncheon guests to leave the restaurant but nothing was too much for Team Trompette. Would we go again?...........you bet!

10/10The food is consistently excellent and the menu changes frequently. What makes La Trompette really stand out is the staff - they are the best in London by far! Welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They make you feel as though you are friends from the minute you arrive

9.5/10Lovely meal and pleasant service. The only disappointing part was the wine. The service was a bit curt and when we were unhappy, we were told” well that is what a aligoté tastes like. “ We have enjoyed aligoté wine for years and were simply not happy with the one served. We did not appreciate the comment, insinuating we do not know wine. The glass was replaced however with another wine. However, the comment did leave a slightly sour taste in terms of our experience.

5/10Starter and main were creative and really nice however not above that of a good restaurant. Garlic and almond soup was surprising and delicious, rest in my opinion was a little too common. I felt my food was too salty although my two friends found theirs fine. Desserts were disappointing. Almond cream with cherries in my taste would have been better without the cherries. Strawberry tarts were a big miss unfortunately. Ambiance was… none. It felt the place has no vibe at all. Waiters were nice. Table Decor was inexistent. The place itself has an uptight feeling to it but not that Michelin star magic. Facilities were a little run down, corridor to the washrooms is in need of a fix and washrooms had no high end feeling at all. Overall nice food, we were happy to try La Trompette and the staff meant well but I don’t think we will go back. All the best to them though!

9.5/10We had a 9.30pm booking at the restaurant. We were greeted warmly, and all the staff were attentive and friendly. As we were celebrating, we were offered a glass of complementary champagne which was totally unexpected. It was a joy to listen to the wine sommelier before making our choice. The food was amazing. Innovative and full of flavour. We could not fault anything. We felt the experience was very well priced considering La Trompette is Michelin stared. We would definately recommend this restaurant, and we will be dinning there again soon.

6.5/10Sorry but the food is no where near Michelin star .. we eat better at home. Starter tasted like a standard pub roast beef (and not a particularly good one), pork main was not much better. It's adequate but shockingly pricey given that. Shame as, years ago, this really was a top restaurant
