Absolutely gorgeous afternoon tea which we all enjoyed. The quality of the food was outstanding. The scones were super light almost crumbly they were so fresh. It was busy which meant the staff were a little stretched but we went at 1pm so it was lunchtime in the restaurant as well. Would go again anytime. A truly delightful experience we all thoroughly enjoyed. They even gave us beautiful boxes for the children to take their cakes home in rather than waste them
Laura Ashley tea house is a little gem the only thing I was expecting this to be bigger room than I expected but still very beautiful & service was excellent. Have booked another date.
Perfect setting for friend’s birthday - afternoon tea was lovely and so much of it. Been before and going again in November. Staff all very friendly and efficient
Our first visit to celebrate with friends their golden wedding anniversary. We were really impressed by everything - the ambience, the staff and the food was all excellent. We will certainly go again. Excellent!
Lovely little tea room. Pretty ambience. Great staff & service. Nice array of afternoon tea nibbles. Was able to take home what my mum couldn't manage. So really pleased no waste & fantastic value for money. Will definitely return.
Lovely fresh sandwiches, warm scones and little cakes and pastries were all delicious! Nice friendly service from Henry . Happy to bring fresh cups and saucers for 2nd pots of tea .
Nice & cosy tea room. Very well decorated. Vegan afternoon tea was value for money. Cakes were delicious, scones were little dry and sandwiches could be more interesting & few more servings. Overall good afternoon tea but not great with lovely friendly & attentive service.
The service was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed the views and the pretty decor. Whilst the scones and cakes were lovely, unfortunately the bread was rather dry (it was as if the sandwiches had been left out). I felt it was important to feedback as this was the only thing that did let it down for us. The prawn on ryvita and the little tart were nice, but the sandwiches could definitely be improved.
Came here for a birthday treat and girly catch up. Really enjoyed the afternoon tea, would definitely recommend. The setting and service were faultless, beautiful ambience and delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes. Our waitress was also lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. Pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a place.
Really lovely afternoon tea at Burnham Beeches Laura Ashley Tea Room. Beautifully decorated room. Waitress was attentive and helpful. Sandwiches and cakes were lovely - very tasty but fair too much. Had a cake box to take the top tier home! Plenty of tea too!
Beautifully decorated- great value.
Gorgeous room for tea with friends. Very relaxing afternoon .
Took my Mother for her birthday and what a gorgeous place to have Afternoon Tea. An unexpected 'amuse bouche' for a starter is a lovely idea. Bread was perfectly soft and fresh, as were the scones, topped off with beautiful and delicate cakes (some were boxed up for us to take home). Friendly waitress, who was telling us about all the new refurbishments that the hotel was having. She popped in a few times to make sure we weren't left waiting for another pot of tea/water. In the words of my Mother "it was all fit for a Queen."
Really welcoming staff who were attentive throughout. The food was excellent and I was surprised at the quantity- much better than closest rivals! Decor was lovely and the whole experience was really enjoyable. Only one slight criticism- a pot of coffee would be preferred rather than a cup. Many thanks.
To begin with, the room was stunning. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We could not fault it. We go out for afternoon tea around 8-10 times a year, mostly within a 10-15 mile radius. This was by far the best for a long time. Even Raymond Blanc brasserie at Beaconsfield couldn't compete with this. The only downside was my Sat. Nav. took us down very small lanes. I don't know whether you can get to the hotel by a more direct route.
My daughter and I went for Afternoon Tea ~ it was a splendid afternoon and a splendid tea. We loved the enthusiasm of the staff who were delightfully friendly and considerate and managed to be super efficient at the same time. The pretty way in which the tables were decorated was very inviting and we were happy that tables were not close together and thus preserved a nice sense of privacy. We were lucky enough to have a window table with a lovely view of the flower-filled gardens. The tea itself was tastefully presented: the amuse bouche was a nice touch and a choice of both lemon- and cucumber-water very welcome. Good choice of both tea and coffee and the dainty sandwiches, scones and pretty cakes were perfect. I can't think of a better way to spend a birthday afternoon!
Lovely afternoon tea with an extremely friendly and helpful waiter. We would definitely go back
selection of desserts
Excellent afternoon tea with plenty left to take home afterwards. Beautiful location within hotel and tea room decorated in Laura Ashley furnishings.
The service, food and ambience was beyond our expectations. We were thoroughly treated like 'ladies that do high tea' with the service and the food did not disappoint. We were also treated to a bonus view of the new Laura Ashley bespoke bedroom tour. Cant wait to go again !
The gentleman that served us was brilliant he described the selectionn of teas , sandwiches and cakes to perfection . He was attentive without being too much .The selection of sandwiches and cakes were delightful . My friends and I have been to most top hotels in London as in Ritz, savoy, and Worcester to name but a few and your afternoon tea certainly matches there's .The surroundings and decor are very pretty and relaxing we will defiantly be returning and Would recommend your afternoon tea to family and friends x Thank you for delightful afternoon xx
