Excellent
First time eating here from the beautiful cocktail, lamb starter beef main and the chocolate sweet everything was amazing, and the waiters were very attentive it was first class and l would definitely go again .
Elegant, albeit a tad sterile, room within a stunningly renovated iconic London location. Well prepared dishes with friendly staff. Background music a little intrusive.
Lovely meal in this restaurant. Food quality was excellent. The Artichoke Veloute , we would highly recommend. The Wheat Berry with Duck was glorious. Both mains of Pea/Asparagus Risotto & Beef were cooked to perfection. Service was faultless. Great ambience in the restaurant. Thoroughly recommend
Lovely ambience and food
Excellent service true 5 star experience
Fabulous decor and very attentive service, loved the bar and cocktails The food was delicious ??
The venue is gorgeous and very attentive staff. The music, just right , so did not interfere with our conversation, As we went for the set menu, it was good value for money, My group thoroughly enjoyed.
I have dined in this restaurant for the first time. I was impressed with the beautiful settings and the good ambience. I definitely visit again and will recommend to my friends.
Excellent food, ambiance & service.
The offer of three courses and a glass of champagne is amazing value. I’ve been three time’s now and never been disappointed. The food is lovely, served in a beautiful restaurant by attentive, friendly staff.
Have been before staff are always attentive and informative , extra little touches are excellent ! From the Yorkshire pudding to the petit fours at the end ! A good variety on the fixed menu , staff and premises are always spotless
Excellent dining experience, comfortable seating and tasty food.
The service here was attentive, the food was wonderful and the value was exceptional. The tuna sushi rolls for starter were divine, the lamb shank main was delicious as was the cauliflower risotto Perfect lunch with cocktails.
Food and service was excellent but the chairs are not comfortable. They are too low, don’t fit under the table and leave you a long way from the table.
Great value set menu
We had the 3 course set menu: delicious food and very attentive service. Gorgeous surroundings and very much a place to celebrate an occasion.
A lovely first visit to Laurent at Cafe Royal. Two of us had a very pleasant lunch one weekday in December, we chose from the festive set menu and shared a bottle of wine. Service was excellent, surroundings just right, a wonderful welcome and the place is to be thoroughly recommended.
Excellent service and food.
Favorite dish : artichokes veloute
The main drawback was that we weren’t sitting in the main dining room( The Regent Room). The Gallery is best served as a breakfast room for hotel guests . It was a main thoroughfare & had no atmosphere. The food was interesting & v good... although my husband said that he had eaten better Dover Soles elsewhere. The service was excellent & my husband has an allergy to cow's milk & they coped admirably. Everyone was v helpful. The question is... would I go back??
