This is the best Laksa in London. Went for a family lunch on a Saturday - we ordered the Traditional Laksa and the Nasi Lemak (with chicken thigh). Both were excellent. The restaurant opened at 12, and all the tables on the ground floor were quickly full - shows you this restaurant's great reputation, which is well-deserved. Service is also very friendly and the food came out promptly. Highly recommended.

Ordered the chicken dish which should have been served with three sauces but only received two. The service could have been better. Was pointed to a table rather than shown to it. The server table manners could have been better and she could have least cracked a smile. She did although clarify what food was halal and the cross contamination risk which was approved. Overall the ambiance was mediocre. The restaurant needs refurb and we squashed in between other diners making it hard to manoeuvre. The food was average

Quite a small premises, food was authentic, we stuffed ourselves. Loved the Roti Canai, Char Kuey, Beef Rendang all were good. Nasi Goreng average. Will.come again.

Great Malaysian restaurant in soho. Helpful staff. Quick service and can book table . satay , laksa, roti chanai , chendol, chicken, blachan veg, and sambal. Reasonable price . Nice cocktail with offer. Would def go back. Modest decor upstairs , lots of steps. But my elderly Malaysian mum didn’t complain… she enjoyed the food so much.

I had my dinner there on the 5th of October 2024, the day I arrived from Singapore. I returned today the 26th after my Iceland trip. Just wanna taste the authentic Malaysian food whenever I am in London. As usual the CHAR KUAY TEOW [FRIED NOODLES had the 'WOK HEY' smell and taste which is not easy unless the chef is really experienced. Today I tried the fried carrot cake for the first time and I was happy with the quality it had.

I have been going to this place regularly for a long time. Unfortunately they have massively reduced the amount of prawns / chicken you get in the Laksa, & actually the overall portion size too. Still tasty but not as good value as it used to be!

Food wasn’t bad, but the whole experience was ruined by the service. The bill was on the table as soon as we finished our food. The card machine soon followed though we still had drinks to finish, so we were practically kicked out of the restaurant. WILL NOT BE RETURNING. And would recommend people to go elsewhere for a more enjoyable experience.

The beef rending was very salty and the char kuay teow ramens was super bland, no flavour but the traditional laksa was good. The waitress was polite.
