Le Mercury is a great local french restaurant, amazingly good value and friendly staff. They offer deals all the time. It is always packed because of it's quality and value. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The service and food were great. It was the perfect pre-theatre destination. The vegan scallops & spinach linguine were delicious, we will definitely be back.

Disappointing! I have been to Le Mercury before, and always been happy but this time it was not so. I had the Seabass, the fish was very good but why came with it, quite mediocre. But the main complaint is about the duck my son had. It was hardly chewable! He is not one to make a fuss, I tried it and would have sent it back. y coffee at the end, came cold .... So not great all round!

Been going over 20yrs (I’m a local) We will not be going back! We didn’t realise that there had been a change of owners and menu changes! Change is always good to make things better! But unfortunately this new owner is making portions smaller and like most restaurants when they make it to the top , their standards go down to save money! My favourite restaurant no more! I’m not saying the flavour of the food is not good, but small portions and not quite the standard of the old Mercury !

The food at Le Mercury was delicious and freshly cooked to per (the pudding was a work of art). We have used this restaurant occasionally in the past but now we can book online with Bookatable we'll probably come more often when we visit a theatre in Islington. I did notice that they don't change their menu very often.

My partner and I had our sixth anniversary and this restaurant was our first restaurant that we had our first date back in 2013, so it is lovely coming back every year for nostalgia. We had starters and a main course which consisted of Sea-bass for my partner and Ratatouille for me which were delicious. This was accompanied by Prosecco and a bottle of white wine (the bottle name escapes me) which had a crisp taste and was lovely. The price at the end has always been a wonder because the food is fantastic but the price is low (compared to other London restaurants) so I made sure that a nice tip was given along with the bill because the service was excellent. Lastly, we have got to mention the new management team consisting of Monica, her husband (the chef) and the team who have improved a popular restaurant with their skill, knowledge and design layout. Thank you guys and looking forward to our next visit. Jason and Nicola

I find that Le Mercury never disappoints! i have been a client since it opened so obviously have had many lunches and dinners there before and after the theatre as well as just a friendly lunch out. The prices are fair, the food always well prepared and the service is good. What more does one need to enjoy a meal out? I will and do recommend it to friends.

Loved the avocado starter and sea bass main. Liked the planting on the window sills and watching the world go by.
