the food was perfect, but my husband chose to go to this restaurant, because he loves turbot'.when we ordered we were told that its for2 people. no mention of this was on the menue. therefor we had to re think our choices.

Restaurant looking tired. Stained chair seats; decoration needed. A pleasant welcome , but had to ask for the set meal menu - wasn't offered - and the waiter pretended to mishear "large portion" when I asked for a "starter portion. The meal was nicely presented and the dishes tasted good.

The location is great, service is attentive and the food decent - but it felt a bit empty for a Saturday

The Menu lacks choice, should have more variety. It is far too pricey for the food quality and atmosphere. A new inventive and daring value proposal is missing.

Don't want to be the Xmas Grinch, but very very noisy table of 15 next to us, but the food / service made up for it.

We had dinner here on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was 90 % empty. I was surprised then that they contacted me so many times to confirm my reservation. The food generally was ok. A well cooked fillet steak a good example. The prices however were a little high - £47 for the fillet and they charge £6 for bread. Deserts were £18. The wine was good and reasonably priced. Service was functional and could have been a little more attentive. Given the quality of the competition round here - I won’t be returning - it’s too much of a tourist trap that I fell into!

Relaxed dining, good food and wine combined with Tower Bridge as an illuminated backdrop makes for a most enjoyable experience. Service and staff excellent.

Strange: although The Fork had sent me a mail with the confirmation, the reservation was not known by the restaurant. There was plenty of space so, no problem The food was really good; the service, a little slow but very kind; the ambience, good: bad weather didn’t let us enjoy the great view (pont, tower and the city lights).

A warm evening so we dined on an outside table ..... lovely, once we had moved as the overhead heaters were very hot .... not a problem. We chose our food and requested a wine from Douro Valley which they did not have, and the choices we were presented with were average in comparison ....but all in all a great night

The endive salad was fine but I’ve had better at restaurants of similar quality (e.g. Fig and Olive in New York). The goujonettes of sole was dry and not very flavorful. Crepes Suzette was good. All in all, not as good as the Michelin guide led me to believe.

Lovely views, good choices on the menu. Good service. Worth looking into d&d club if you dine at their restaurants, as they give you extra offers.

This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. The first time was amazing. This time the food not so good. The starter was predominantly lettuce. A whole little gem which was far too much. Also made to feel by an other couple who were dining that we shouldn’t be there. We didn’t have the designer clothes , false nails etc.The lady looked at us as though we were the lowest form of life.

The food was as expected for a Michelin restaurant. The service was abysmal. There were plenty of staff available that spent more time chatting together rather than attending to customers. We were seated at our reserved table. After more than 20 minutes we flagged someone down to begin our evening. Our bottle of wine was ordered and while the waiter was preparing the bottle the sommelier came running over (1st we had seen of him) to serve the wine and explain its characteristics. We are familiar with the wine and the sommelier's description didn't match the wine - we checked online and indeed the sommelier had no clue. The wine was stored behind us yet we had to reach behind to serve ourselves since we were ignored most of the evening. We were asked if we wanted bread which we never received. Dessert menus were provided but we were never asked if we wanted a dessert. Our bill included the bread. When the bill was corrected we received someone else's bill.

We read some recent reviews of Le Pont de la Tour that were critical of the service received but that wasn’t our experience. We were very pleased with both the food and the service. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and made a reservation ahead of time. Upon our arrival, we were seated immediately and then served attentively throughout the evening. We had cocktails, an appetizer, wine, a main course and dessert. There were no gaps in our service or in the food delivery. It was the perfect pace. The food itself was very good and the portions were just right. The waiter even brought us a special chocolate sweet bite for our anniversary. Yes, the bill was pricey but we knew that it would be going in based on our research. We had an outside table with a clear view of the tower bridge which made it extra special on a pleasant evening. All in all, we had a great experience at Le Pont de la Tour.

My wife and I were in the area for a quick weekend visit from the States and looking for a romantic restaurant overlooking the river to celebrate our anniversary. We found Le Pont de la Tour and it was exactly what we were looking for! The cocktails are great, food is top notch and service is friendly and engaging. We especially enjoyed our conversation with the Polish sommelier! Highly recommend if you're in the Tower Bridge area and looking for a romantic spot, book a table at Le Pont de la Tour

The views are definitely amazing; that is a fact, so I suggest you to sit on a bench and then go somewhere else to eat. The service is some of the worst that I've had in a while. My partner and I stayed there seated without any attention from the workers for a long time, and after 45 minutes the only thing that we had on the table was a bottle of water, and no food order was taken from us. The French waiter was so pretentious. I get that we look young, but that does not mean that we can't afford to pay for our food, so try and take better care of your costumers. It was our anniversary, and we were lucky enough to find another restaurant that was amazing with us just next yours, because you almost ruined our special night.

We flew to London from the USA to celebrate our 25th wedding Anniversary. We chose this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend. Excellent authentic french cuisine, wonderful service and great ambiance. This restaurant truly delivered in every aspect and exceed our expectations. A true gem! I would highly recommend!!

Elegant traditional restaurant with lovely views over the Thames. Good service though perhaps need more staff once the restaurant gets busier after 19:30. Food well presented and with good flavours but plates need to be hotter especially when waiting to have fish deboned at the table.
