9.5/10Everything was delicious. A couple of things were very rich but that's not necessarily surprising for French cuisine and a matter of personal taste. Couldn't fault the flavours, quality, execution and presentation. Service was also brilliant 👏 The chocolate torte to end was delicious 😋

9/10Recommended. The food is above average and mostly tasty. I was impressed by the anchovies mixed butter. It increased the umami. Our appetisers were fruits de mer and beef tartare. They are fresh and delicious. Nothing surprised but as good as expected. My boyfriend had a sea bass and I had rabbit meat. The rabbit meat was cooked very tender. I think I will be coming back for the rabbit meat.

the meal was alright had the cassoluet for the main I was expecting something more here I thought it would be richer a little let down. the dessert was good chocolate torte log. my colleague and the beef for the main which was much better. I think cost wise the dishes are expensive for what they were.

Dear customer, thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated. We asked throughout the meal if the main courses you had ordered were up to standards and your guest many times answered yes, you did smile. When you arrived ,you specifically wanted a table by the window, but you requested a quiet table instead ( On a Saturday night). While we were checking the availability of the above table, you even started walking towards it like it was granted. We couldn't give you the table unfortunately and you stated you were upset: we couldn't understand why as you never requested that table but now we know why the review is not specific about the standards that have allegedly fallen. Thank you for being happy about the full restaurant.

10/10We were very impressed with Le Vacherin. Best restaurant experience so far in Chiswick/Acton. The cheese soufflé was particularly delicious. Nice and quiet on a Sunday evening also.

10/10Always a pleasure to visit Vacherin. We have favourite dishes but decided to explore the menu and try something new. This was very successful. We now have 3 starters and 3 mains that are must-haves and will find it very diffiicult to choose between them on our next visit

9/10We had a lovely lunch at Le Vacherin. The food and service was excellent. I would like to comment that it is a shame that the management ot the restaurant will not take digital copy of vouchers and was totally inflexible about it. As I dont have a printer I was disadvantaged.

The hard copy is the only way we have to track whether the offer was redeemed before visiting the restaurant. It also allows us to quantify the volumes through the website. 10/10The service was excellent from start to finish but it’s the food at Le Vacherin that warrants 10 out of 10. We had the set lunch menu and all started with deliciously fragrant escargots (it’s the garlic butter that’s irresistable!) followed by the rib of beef (which melted off the bone) and sea bream, garnished with plump Cornish mussels and a buttery oyster sauce - sublime! Another great visit to Le Vacherin. The stone bass was nice but unfortunately the veloute was watery I guess from the water from vegetable or mussels which broke the sauce. We should have mentioned it but didn’t want to complain. Rest of the food was very good. Service as professional as in previous visits.

6/10The service was not great. We were given the menus promptly but it took ages for them to come and take our order and we had to ask them to do so. There were only two of us, but for both courses they had got the orders the wrong way around. We certainly did not feel like cherished customers. Disappointingly the food was not great either. Given that it was quite a limited menu I had expected it to be very good, . My Scallops were a bit chewy as was the monkfish. A shame as we had both been very much looking forward to trying this restaurant.

8.5/10Having visited this restaurant many times in the past, I confess to express my reserved disappointment in the front of house service on this occasion. I was first served a cocktail with an exposed chip in it that could have caused me injury had I not noticed, the waiting staff were massively undertrained and inexperienced due to spilled beverages, lack of attention to detail and incorrectly noted drink orders. Had this been my first time visiting this restaurant, I would regretfully not be returning. My experience was saved only by what appeared to be the manager in waiting and another far more experienced member of staff. The food was exceptional and took the spotlight! Compliments to the chef and team!

10/10Excellent menu, we’ve been a number of times and the food is always delicious. I had the soufflé with beetroot sorbet which was amazing followed by roasted partridge. My guests had the Châteaubriand which they said was fantastic. We shall be back soon.
