8/10nice welcome and escorted to my table. Prompt servicel, I found the menu hard to choose from. I needed to involve the staff in my choice. Food well presented and good portions. excellent desserts. Needed to request a second glass of water.

3.5/10Reservation system worked well. Overall the service sub-par both in terms of communication and responsiveness. We selected the tasting menu, with wine pairing. Aside from Curry Shrimp the entire lineup was below average. Finally the lighting was so bright it was off putting.

7.5/10Lovely lunch, the food we chose was delicious. The restaurant was very quiet so lacked atmosphere and ambience. The service was pleasant and friendly. I booked using Yums credit and it was great to have the bill presented with the credit already shown.

9/10The service we received was great. Our waiter was attentive friendly and made us laugh. Made good recommendations on the food. What more could you want. Food was delicious and being gluten and lactose free I did not get sick which was a major plus thanks so much for our lovely meal and experience at your restaurant.

10/10This is an elegant restaurant with very good Indian food and impeccable service. While there are other restaurants in the neighborhood of Kensington Gardens with equally good food none are as comfortable or have the same type of spacious seating and pleasant Indian music playing in the background.

10/10Tasty, well presented food, with an extensive menu, and attentive staff in a nice setting. A great place to eat at a reasonable price for London. A close walk from the Gloucester Road tube station.

10/10This is an absolute gem of a restaurant! Service was impeccable and ambiance was perfect. Our waiter was very attentive and made great suggestions. We will definitely be returning when we are back in London.

10/10+2The waiter was very helpful in helping us choose a dish to our tastes. I went because my family loves Indian food - me not so much. Hr asked if I like spicy or mild, when I said mild he suggested 3 dishes. I chose mango chicken. It was delicious. Would go back again!!!9

2/10So booked a family get together here tonight for 12 of us we sat down orderd our food guys comes up to us and says you have to pay up front to what we were very confused we thought he was just being very awkward as we were all very hungry we paid for the food over £300 that was very expensive the food came and it was very very average and some of the food was not eatable so l understand why they want money upfront it's because the food is terrible, wouldn't recommend at all staff very

10/10What a spectacular experience! My husband and I both heartily agreed that we had one of the best meals of our lives at Light of India—and as long-time New Yorkers, we’ve eaten at some truly wonderful places. Everything from the cocktails to the dessert was terrific, with friendly and helpful service. Without doubt, we will return here on our next visit and simply can’t recommend Light of India highly enough!

8.5/10rather small though cosy restaurant, part of the hotel also serves as the breakfast venue. Attentive staff and good choice of food. especially liked the onion bhaji, plain nan and chocolate deserts. decent discount if a resident.

9/10Great restaurant in a really convenient location. The food we chose was delicious and very much enjoyed, as was the Indian Sauvignon Blanc. Service was friendly and we will no doubt visit again.

9.5/10Really enjoyed the food. Service was prompt and friendly. Food delicious and plentiful. Not a huge place but warm and welcoming. The only complaint is the bathroom smelled of cigarettes. But otherwise very happy. Will return again.
