10/10My second visit to the restaurant and it never disappoints me! Delicious dishes with many varieties. The young guy who served us was totally passionate about the dishes and know so much about it. Will definitely come back!

7/10The food was delicious but the portions were small and quite pricey. It said the monk fish fed 2-3 people and was priced at £70. I think It only feeds 2-3 provided you get another main and I couldn't see how they could justify charging £70 to be honest. I found the service to be passable if a little snooty. We arrived for a 630 reservation and they wanted to seat us at the counter. I inquired about this and they said that I had booked a counter seat when this was simply not the case. I asked again and finally they gave us a table upstairs and why they didn't do this in the first place I cannot understand as the restaurant upstairs with table seating was half empty. We were 3 people who hadn't seen each other in 10 yrs so it was nice to be able to face each other to talk rather than sit 3 in a row along a counter. Other service issues included the waitress pulling a face when we completed the order. Clearly she thought we hadn't ordered enough food but that wasn't her decision to make. Also the waiter plonked the desserts on our table without explaining what they were and we couldn't tell which was which. We also asked for sharing plates from him for dessert which weren't forthcoming - he simply rushed off. Come on guys! You charge a lot and your service could be better. The customer comes first not your overinflated sense of self worth.

7/10The food is excellent. However the service stands out for being poor and unfriendly. The lady doing the front of house seems to think she’s doing you a favour by finding your booking and instead of taking you to your table in the normal way, asks guests to wait around at the entrance for other unrelated customers to arrive, so she doesn’t doesn’t have to make the journey into the restaurant twice. She’s quite unusually unwelcoming, it does stand out. The waiters are competent but needed reminding to take orders, bring bills etc. I have to say that even though the food is really wonderful the service overall is so bad that it’s one of the reasons I don’t come here as often as I’d like. You can go almost anywhere else in London and people will be much much nicer to you.

5.5/10Upon walking in there was no one to help us for a good seven minutes. We weren’t acknowledged by any of the staff that saw us waiting. We were taken to seats at the counter that still needed to be cleaned, so even once we were attended to, we had to stand and watch the counter get cleaned. There as never a sense of urgency or concern with regard to customer service. It felt as if the customers were a bit irrelevant to the operation. The food was fine — nothing particularly memorable with the exception of a very tasty cauliflower dish. We ordered wine from the bartender which we had to remind him we had ordered. Keep in mind, the restaurant was not busy. He was just standing around when we said, “Is our wine on the way?” It was clear it had been forgotten. Our bill had a bottle of water on it that we didn’t order. Was excited to try this restaurant but would not go back.

10/10This restaurant was a real treat; we would recommend it to everyone and will gladly go back ourselves. We were impressed by all of the dishes and the drinks that we paired with them. Our servers did a great job of welcoming us and of explaining each of the dishes. Lisboeta focuses on serving small plates that can be shared; many of them were new to us and were delightful, and others were a new take on foods we often eat and we were very impressed by them.
