5/10Lunch booked for 1 o’clock had to get our own drinks ordered within ten minutes not served food till ten to two they were sorry it was late as they had people to serve at a private party upstairs food arrived both meals had sea bass burnt and overcooked I think some of the bill should have been reduced it’s a pity that they never offered that or perhaps a drink on the house

6/10Waitress service great. Unfortunately we had to return food to kitchen as it was cold/wrong order. Coffee machine had been turned off so couldnt order a 2nd cup!!! Felt sorry for the waitress.

5/10Food was ok except for one of the meals which the gammon was not edible, however after locating a member of staff this was promptly replaced . It felt like there was no real attention to customers as we had pre booked and waited at bar while no one was present behind bar for around ten minutes, as a last straw there was quite a commotion from a few guys at the bar where a very heated exchange took place and ran for a number of minutes before all was calmed down.

7/10I am sure that others will enjoy visiting this venue. Unfortunately for us it was a disappointment. Menu wasn't the same as on-line. Two slices of bread and some olives does not a starter make. Mashed Potato was all dried out and the chives were on holiday. Although the beef was cooked well, putting some in gravy and putting a pastry lid on it does not make a pie. The only saving grace was the excellent dessert.

10/10We arrived early and had a stroppy 2 tear ild in toe, got seated right away, some colouring for little one and brother and sister. Celebrating a 40th birthday. Food was lovely, service was fantastic from our waitress, who smiled continuously and nothing seemed too much bother. Thank you, it was a pleasant experience to come out with 3 kids on a week night and get lovely service and food.

10/10We had an extra person attend and Mo accommodated us with no fuss ,service was friendly and efficient,with a special reduced cost lunch menu available, food was good and we were not encouraged to leave although we exceeded our allocated time.

10/10The atmosphere is lovely. All the staff are very friendly are polite and welcoming. The service is excellent. There is a varied menu choice and everything is reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this place to everyone

10/10We received a friendly welcome from the Bar Staff and were shown to our table. A waitress came to the table to take our drinks order. She was very polite and very friendly. Once we received our drinks the waitress took our food order, we were made to feel special. The meals were of a high standard and we certainly will go there again.

10/10Been to lobster smack many times since moving here a year ago, recently the food hasn’t seemed as good……… went ystrday with 3 friends who have never been there and we all had drinks, Sunday lunch & dessert and it was superb…. They all enjoyed it, said how lovely it was and want to go back ……. Had a really lovely time and service was faultless. This pub is defo back on our list to eat at
