Having known the head chef and the owners prior, I was looked after extremely well, but im sure the same level would be given to anyone coming for the first time With the intricate rustic design and amazingly hearty food, it is the perfect place to try authentic Italian cuisine with family and friends alike. I would also add that the place is a very romantic setting and transported me back to Italy, inducing a sense of nostalgia and the wine list is also incredible

Picked this because it was the highest-rated restaurant in S Ken, for a night out with some friends. Great atmosphere, with several smaller rooms with nooks and crannies, and retro 1950s italian movie/showbiz memorabilia, which gives it an intimate feel - the opposite of a great cavernous canteen. The service was excellent: attentive and friendly and the food delicious. We were going on to a party nearby, so we each had a starter and home-made pasta dish: each of them was fresh, full of flavour and truly delicious - as was the home made focaccia. I would definitely go back.

It’s great for a light lunch : perhaps soup / mussels / home made ravioli …. You can sit outside or inside. It’s my local & I really like the casual feel 👍

I have been dining there with great pleasure for 15 years. I like the 1960s atmosphere with reference to a period when Italian cinema was exceptional. Staff has been there for a long time and is always efficient and kind. Food is rustic and tasty... I always pick the carpaccio, the risotto or the pacheri al ragu, with a bottle of excellent barbaresco. In a London world where restaurants are more about fashion than substance, Locanda Ottoemezzo is your "favourite local place".

We celebrated a family birthday with 10 guests. The table was in a snug downstairs and was absolutely perfect. The food was gorgeous and service top class. We had a lovely evening. I would definitely recommend it and will be back next time we are in London.

We had an amazing evening in this lovely and quirky Italian restaurant located not far from Kensington High Street. We arrived earlier and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Menu was different from the one I have seen at the time of booking but seemed to be very good. Our dishes the risotto served in a very original way and the fish were of top quality. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Planning to come back and certainly will recommend to friends and family. Thank you.

The food and wine were delicious. ( sea bass carpaccio outstanding! Paccheri al ragù excellent ) There was a good atmosphere at ground level in the cafe and on the terrace but we were led to a table in the basement where we were the only diners for most of our meal, when we were joined by another couple. The waiters were friendly and attentive. We look forward to coming back, maybe sitting upstairs!

Try the risotto served in a whole giant Parmesan wheel. Just sensational. Chocolate Nemesis for desert. I have eaten here three times now and every dinner has been exceptional.
