We are sorry about your experience but do bear in mind in was a all table of 2 s mass at same time with full a la carte menu and a specials fish board so that means you didn't need to pay a set menu of £65 per head like other restaurants do and as you left a review on google and already announced the world about your experience which we appreciate..We could have easily served a shorter menu with 5 starters and 5 mains but we offered full menu so that our guests get a better value and food choices.. We would like to invite you back on a normal weekend evening if you care to keep in touch . Kindest regards

This was the first time coming to this restaurant .Everyone was so friendly and so welcoming and it had a real family feel, for a relaxed atmosphere. My partner has learning difficulties and has recently lost his mum so I would like to thank everyone at the restaurant for making this experience truly special and memorable for him. The food was amazing by far the best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. I had snails which my partner was a taken back by but was delicious as was the mussels and then the tiamasu which was divine.my partner had the mushrooms followed by the linguine and then the tiamasu which he adored.

We were a party of 8. We came last year and had a great time so returned. Lovely people, very helpful and wanted us to have a great time. The food was excellent. We will return for our next Christmas lunch.

Ate here many times. This time we were disappointed there were no scallops or mussels to start. We skipped starter. As we were paying a different waiter told a table today's specials are scallops mussel and swordfish. So gutted it was our anniversary as well. We go back here as the elder gentleman was amzing always gave free desserts and was so helpful and chatty. Now some of the waiter can even be bothered to tell you the specials. Shame really as they would have had another £30 off us. Very disappointing and will go back to the Italians in city centre and Stratford-Upon-Avon

The restaurant itself is beautiful and very atmospheric. The service was very friendly. However we had to wait a long time for our food and when it arrived it was poorly presented and not very nice (my stuffed mushrooms were tiny and dry. On the plate was also some plain iceberg lettuce and a cut up mushroom - I can do better at home! My daughters bruschetta had dry salad etc on it - not a nice garlicky herby small chopped up salsa she was hoping for.

The best food and service, bar none. We ate fish, drank savory glasses of excellent white wine, with complete enjoy of lemony dessert and cheese cake. It is the only restaurant where we dine monthly.

It was a great experience having Italian food at Locanta. The owner was amazing. He was very nice and made great suggestions for food. I had halibut with tomato sauce and capers which was very tasty. The tiramisu was also a delight. I would highly recommend

Amazing place and food. Booked this last minute before an evening out with friends and family. Small, authentic Italian feel, food was amazing and was freshly cooked, piping hot and very flavoursome.. A good choice on the menu, all reasonably priced. I would definitely come back again and recommend you try it if in the area.

Definitely the best food in the West Midlands. Dishes served and enjoyed by my partner and me. The wine definitely highest quality, standard and taste. We plan to visit, at minimum, monthly. See you guys soon! R & D

Very nice and welcoming staff very fast as well i dont think i v had to wait more than 10 minutes for my meal The food was amazing too the only complaint I have is that the restaurant is a bit small but thats about it 5 star experience

Very good Italian food - most Italian places I've tried are entirely pizza-focused and the pasta is a let-down, but the pasta here was excellent. Will definitely come again for that reason alone. Service was good too, the staff were friendly helpful and patient answering questions and were happy to make adjustments to dishes on request. Only improvement point would be it felt a little bit cramped to me, but equally that helped it feel cosy and welcoming which could be seen as a positive.
