9.5/10The private domes create a lovely atmosphere and was a fantastic experience. The portion sizes of the set menu (we did the Sakura) were very generous and great value for money. Service was very good and staff were friendly and helpful.

8.5/10nice dinner setting inside a personal dome. excellent service by the restaurant team. good quality of the ordered dishes. only portion size a bit disappointing. especially three lonely prawns in the main dish coconut prawn laksa is a bit poor. not worth the £16 price mark. overall a nice visit in unique settings with great food but the portion size is letting you down.

4/10When we arrived it turned out that our table was cancelled - which we absolutely did not do. After that it turned out that we were not booked in a dome, which the site on the fork suggested explicitly, instead we were put in the restaurant. This did not have any good atmosphere, boring and not very festive on Christmas Day. The food was great though, not a lot but very tasty.

10/10We had the sweetest server who really went above and beyond to make our afternoon tea memorable. We had a table in one of the domes in the garden and it was really cosy and nice and beautiful when the dark came over us. The scones were amazing and the savouries as well. Really loved the desserts as well. The sandwiches were fine. My daughter appreciated the mocktail she got and I my glass of champagne. Thank you for a perfect experience!

10/10An unforgettable dinner inside an insulated bubble in a lovely green garden under the starry sky. We ordered the set dinner on the menu and the food was delicious, especially the bruschetta, the garlic and chilli prawns, and the vegetable kebab. Service was superb. Great ambience. Will definitely visit again.

10/10I had bought a BUYAGIFT voucher for Afternoon Tea pods a few years ago but couldn't book and exchanged fir a standard one. I was extremely pleased to find London Secret Garden Afternoon Tea pods on the Fork so booked as soon as I could. The venue is just around the corner from Gloucester Road Station so we arrived 30 minutes too early. The staff allowed us to take a seat while the pods were prepared. It was surprisingly quiet and we had a whole pod to ourselves. We opted for the classic Afternoon Tea and ate every last morsel. We could decide which part we liked the most, bit the actual scone was so yummy, I saved the second one last. I'm going again at the end of June and hope to fill the whole pod with 8 of my friends in July, maybe a late night one to see what its like lit up. Even though a pod was being disassembled, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day and the weather helped!

2/10Such a rubbish place. Waited 50 mins for an afternoon tea and it was not even busy. Poor service, not as nice as you thought. I walked out. Also noticed the kitchen door was broken, just hanging side way on one hinge. Good luck with those who want to go.

5/10I booked the afternoon tea for 15:15, however we were put on the list for 16:45 so when we got there we had to wait for 15mins to set the table which was fine but then when we got our hot drinks, it did took a little while for us to receive our food. My coffee was already cold by then. After the food, it took a little while for us to get the bill too. Overall the service was pretty slow.

10/105 of us enjoyed the Afternoon Tea with added cocktail/prosecco. Our server, Usman, was lovely & worked hard to make sure we were well looked after. The afternoon tea was lovely, fresh sandwiches & lovely sweet food too. The lemon Cheesecake was particularly tasty. We were warm with with lovely heaters in our pod & the lights added to the ambience with the Church a beautiful backdrop. Great value for money with the Fork offer. Definitely recommended.

8.5/10There was confusion about reservation. I had booked an igloo for 7 diners. The host had a reservation for “the garden” only, which is patio seating, actually closed in winter. After some conversation, we were accommodated in an igloo, but with 90 minutes time limit as another party was expected. The staff were attentive and well meaning but there was a half an hour wait between appetizer and main course. We were able to linger slightly longer, but had to move to inside restaurant for dessert; not nearly so atmospheric a setting as the igloo. In sum, the initial confusion over reservation was stressful, but the team did their best to provide a nice experience. Food was tasty. Igloo give top marks for solid structure and magical garden setting, perfect for the holidays. Recommend app be more clear on how to select “igloo” option to avoid confusion at the door.

However there was a guy/waiter, probably new - someone told him the numbers of the tables - who made this experience kind of strange, in winter he let the doors open and when we were leaving he asked if we paid, which was strange because he hadn’t had anything to do with our table the whole time (to say of course we payed)

3.5/10For a festive tea there was very little ambience with very few Xmas decorations. This was exasperated to some degree however by very few other diners I suppose the though. Service was extremely slow and we had to ask several times for water and additional drinks. Food however was very good let down only by the fact that the cutlery and glasses were dirty: a further long wait for replacement. Underwhelmed

6/10The pod were very nice the table seated 6 was a bit much for two people. The food was lovely. The temperature dropped, so we had to sit in our coats, great idea for warmer weather. Would definitely go in the warmer weather. The toilet was a trek from the pod. A pleasant experience all in all.

4/10We felt a bit abandoned by the staff. The menu of the afternoon tea we were presented with was really quite different to what we ended up getting. Also two of the teas weren't there, which is quite a lot given the limited number of available teas.

10/10Really great afternoon tea with cocktail. Loved the individual dome, which made it unique. Good value for money compared to other afternoon teas as well. A slight issue with updating their booking system was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. I am already planning another visit for their Christmas afternoon tea! Highly recommend a visit.

6/10The Garden is nice, but you have to pay extra for the dome and when I purchase didn't say that, so we took a seat in a commom table at the garden! The service was really slow and the place was not even busy! Food was nice, but they served the roast dinner and too long later the gravy sauce, when we had eaten half of the plate!

9/10Definitely a hidden gem in South Kensington. My husband and I each had one drink, one appetiser and one main and our bill came to £51. As well, we had our very own huge pod which was gorgeous and very comfortable and lovely for a quiet evening. There is also an Air Conditioner/Heater so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was superb.

3.5/10Service was dead slow. We visited the hotel for an afternoon tea. We had to wait about 15 mins before someone took our order. We received the food within normal waiting time but it took more than 30 minutes before our tea arrived. So we had almost finished eating by then. Tea was served in a teapot that didn’t look clean as tea was dripping from the side. Tea bags were used instead of loose leafs. 2 out 6 tea flavors were out of stock. There were flies and other insects inside the nylon dome. In general the set up didn’t feel clean and seemed rather outdated. When seated we asked for still water which was brought only after reminding it again after about 40 minutes from sitting. Food quality was poor. Sandwiches were ok, 2 very small jars of marmalade weren’t enough to serve 4 people, scones could be fresher, sweets were of low quality and bad taste. The entire ambience was outdated and neglected. There is no garden surrounding as the ground is fitted with plastic grass tapestry. The general feeling is disappointing cause the location is good and given the appropriate attention and effort it could become a nice place to visit.
