10/10iN A BUSY RESTAURANT THEY TOOK TIME TO MOVE SETS AND TABLES TO MAKE 6 PEOPLE MORE COMFTABLE .SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING , ATTENTIVE AND EVERY ORDER TURNED UP CORRECT .FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING . WELL DONE TO TYE TEAM AT LUCS

10/10This grand dame restaurant is as good now as it ever was. Authentic bistro experience at twice the price of Paris but worth it to experience it in London. I look forward to my next visit.

4.5/10Steak overcooked for a "medium" - it was cold and grey. Escargots - could only find 3 out of 6 Grossly disappointed - will give it a miss for a while...

4/10First, it took them almost 45 minutes to bring the food, which was unacceptable. The stake that my husband had ordered arrived well well done, while he asked it to be medium. And my fish was so oily that you couldn’t taste it, only the oil in your mouth. Nobody asked us how was our meal… but it surely was much overpriced! Never come back.

10/10We were there for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious-fresh, flavorful, and well-executed. Service was on point. The space is delightful. I would definitely recommend.

9.5/10Wonderful French food and service in this lovely upstairs restaurant in the heart of Leadenhall Market. Easy access from Liverpool and Fenchurch Street stations makes this a keeper for us.

7/10Luc’s was a pleasant setting. Table a bit narrow for our large group of 7. Fairly steep stairs up to restaurant with no lift so not ideal for those with mobility issues. Salmon cake in lobster sauce was excellent as was tuna Niçoise salad (good-sized portions both). Duck also good. The only real disappointment was the escargot. Served in the shell made for difficult eating — esorcially for those in our party who were not accustomed to escargot — scared them off a bit. Also problem with this style if serving is that you don’t get much of the delicious butter/oil/garlic/herb sauce to dip bread in. So for 13.50 not worth the price. Decent wine list with approachable prices and profiterol was delicious.

7.5/10The staff were wonderful, the food was very good (particularly the tomato salad) but don’t imagine you can have a long leisurely lunch - we sat down at 1.30 and were chased out at 3.30 as they were closing. Great place for quick working lunch.

10/10The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and welcoming. We were not having a huge three course lunch and they didn’t mind at all, even though it was peak lunchtime. They were extremely accommodating when we asked for individual bills. Great fun, buzzy atmosphere, superb food. I would definitely go back.

5.5/10I have been to this restaurant many times over the last 30 years and enjoy the ambience of the place. However it can be very noisy at times and tables are small and intimate with your neighbours. Sadly on this occasion while the service was good the food quality was poor. My steak tartare was served grey/ brown as if it had been prepared many hours before. My tuna Nicoise was served cold and possibly worst I have ever eaten. My guest ordered the cassoulet as he previously lived in France but was disappointed to receive a poor man’s version of two herb sausages with beans. Push button automated cappuccino’s rounded off the bad experience.

9.5/10Interesting place obviously more of a lunch spot than dinner as somewhat empty but they had the diners in single area so felt busier than it was. The waiter was really cheerful and could not have been happier to help. Three great meals of three courses thoroughly enjoyed and some very well priced good wine consumed.

In the heart of London a proper French restaurant with simple but honest food. Pricing are moderate for the location, wines are also priced correctly for what they are. The Kir is perfect, especially the size of the glass for the price.

9/10The food and staff were excellent, however the volume in thr restaurant was so very loud we couldn't hear each other. It was very difficult to hear the person opposite me let alone the other end of the table. Lots of shouting due to noise levels.
