Expect lots of early 20 somethings, and a party bar vibe. The food here is bar snack type of food, and potential bar style high seating. Waiting staff were a little rushed, maybe because it was a Friday night. We enjoyed that there was jellyfish on the menu and other interesting things like crispy chicken skin! The roast meat platter however was not great.

2/10Horrible experience, unfortunately nothing went well. Since the very beginning what supposed to be a nice night date it became disappointing. The “welcome” was done by Viktor, who was unprofessional, rushing, chaotic and inattentive. He gave us a table which was an standing table, we ask for a different one and he said that was not possible because there was no other free tables, I indicated one which was empty and he confirmed that there were no chairs). We waited 40 minutes for the food which was ok-ish, and before we say a group of 3 people leaving and we were not offered that table. The area near our table it was extremely loud and upon our booking (because we made the booking 2 months in advance, we were not just random walkings) we expected a normal table in a nice normal table in a common area like in any other restaurant. We truly not recommend the place at all!

Lovely place with pretty decor. We had got the mixed dumplings platter and mixed meat platter. The dumplings were fabulous, best dumplings we’ve had in a while. The meat however was quite dry and not very tasty. Also a warning, we booked on the fork early in the morning but the restaurant didn’t have our reservation as they said they don’t hear back from the fork if a table was booked. The restaurant was full but luckily a large group had a few people cancel and they were able to take a table off them. Wait times were alright but seems like there was just one waitress for the whole restaurant but she did do a great job.

10/10Great dinner at Lucy Wong, the place is beautiful, service immaculate and the food was amazing! I highly recommend the roast meat sharing plate and the Singapore rice noodles.

2/10Lucy Wongs is more of a party place than a restaurant. The food menu is tucked away behind the drinks which gives you an idea of the order of preference here. When we arrived, we made it clear we had booked through The Fork, but when the bill came it was for the full amount. A considerable bill for what amounted to some Chinese style tapas. When we pointed out that the bill was wrong, a new one was presented but still with the wrong discount applied. We ended up in an argument with the waitress and it was only as we looked like we were about to leave that the manager swiftly slapped the correct bill on our table. We paid and left but won’t be going back. The food was OK but very small portions and the whole vibe was one of office and birthday parties. If you want an actual meal, avoid. If places like this want to be on The Fork they should train their staff accordingly otherwise they just look like they are trying to rip you off.

2/10I went to Lucy Wong when it first opened and it was fabulous. This recent visit was really unpleasant. The service was really slow and the staff couldn’t cope with the capacity. They had a private function going on and closed the seating area at the back without any prior informing that we would be sat at in the bar area for food. It was so loud (I’m normally used to going out to clubs) and this was so loud for a 8pm food sitting. The food was overcooked so all the meats were chewy. As someone with Chinese heritage, I cannot recommend eating here.

3.5/10We have visited many bars and restaurants in London with a similar price point. However, this experience was wholly disappointing. To start, the name is misleading as the restaurant’s staff and crowd are largely non-Asian, which makes the Asian features feel gimmicky and stereotypical. We spent 1.5 hours there waiting for 2 drinks, with music blasting the entire time. It feels like a tacky nightclub but is priced like it is a high end eatery.

5/10It's more a bar, not so much a restaurant - and the choices are quite limited. Food quality was just fine, but not amazing. There were a couple of very very loud tables, 2 groups of people very drunk. We were sat next to one of them and we couldn't even hear our thoughts. Despite many empty tables, they wouldn't allow us to change tables at first (had to tell them we would leave otherwise). After dinner, and again with many empty tables around us, they really pushed us to go. We wanted to order some more, so it's their loss really.

Excellent service. We mainly dined even though we were aware that the serve mostly light bights and small plates. Extremely attentive staff. Checked on us multiple times and offered beautiful food at quick pace.

6/10I recently visited and had a discount for our booking, but unfortunately, the staff made us feel awkward because of it. It seemed like we were treated differently, and the overall experience felt a bit uncomfortable. However the place was nice and the food was good.

8/10The restaurant seemed pretty quiet and there wasn’t a lot of atmosphere. Our server was lovely and good humoured, and she engaged in a few laughs with us. The food was generally tasty, although I felt that there wasn’t enough vegetarian options. My friend ordered the roast pork and commented that it wasn’t very tasty. The noodles, spring rolls, vegetable rice and vegetable dim sum were however good. A reasonable meal but the lack of atmosphere was a little disappointing.

8.5/10My fault. I hadn't read the description of this place closely enough. I booked for dinner, but its a cocktail bar with high quality nibbles. Not alot of veggie options. However the food we had was of excellent quality, and the feel of the place was perfect for a date.

Lovely, relaxed bar vibes with a touch of the Orient express decor. The food was lovely, the staff attentive and kind. I was amazed at the fabulous value for money despite it being in the centre of town. Great for catching up with friends and after work drinks. I can recommend the crispy chicken skin and signature fried rice. I was so pleased they had details of my yums available and were so helpful with this.

2/10There were only 4 of us in the place yet when asked to be moved to the courtyard we were refused . Zero atmosphere, iced down drinks and poor service (had to ask the hostess on the door to take payment as the waitress disappeared). Give this one a miss. We stayed for one drink (though we had intended to have a meal there) and went to another bar 5mins away. Poor!

The reason we couldn't seat you in the courtyard was due to a private function out there, otherwise you would have been able to sit out there no problem. 8/10Really, this is a bar with some light food options. Great drinks menu, but food menu is a bit lacking. There are basically a few dim sum (which I love, but even so, 1 small menu side of that), some light items and that's it. That said, I like the place and will be back.
