9/10Easy to book and modify booking . Staff super friendly, smart and wecoming.Great explaination about the food , and recommendations about the sharing platter, . Enjoyed the honey wine that led to discussions about mead . Delicious lamb, all veg nicely spiced , injira pancake tasty with a strange texture. Loved that it all felt authentic food

9.5/10Excellent vegan food and good service. My only gripe is that at payment you are asked, electronically, for a tip. Service, it seems, is not included in the price of the food. Tipping is demeaning, undermining any friendly relationship between restaurant and customer by turning your appreciation into a financial gesture. Service should be included in the bill - it's part of what you're paying for after all - and thanks expressed person-to-person.

9/10Incredibly tasty, authentic food and very friendly staff! One of our favourite restaurants in Oxford. We’ve been several times and can’t wait to go back. Our only minor critique is that the ambience in the back room isn’t as nice as the front - it feels a bit bare - but that doesn’t affect our enjoyment of this fantastic restaurant!

10/10Lovely little restaurant. We shared the spicy chicken dish which had a nice little kick. The veg served with it was gorgeous and the extra veg dish that the waiter recommended was especially tasty. This was a first time for Ethiopian food for us and it didn't disappoint. We will return!

10/10Great local restaurant in a location that has been standing vacant for years - had heard good things about it and was not disappointed. The food was all of good quality and the service was excellent. It's particularly great for vegetarians or those on gluten free diets.

7/10The food was tasty except for the grey ‘pancakes’ which were cold and tasteless. Now that may be how they are supposed to be but I wouldn’t know. It would have been better if we had been offered an explanation of Ethiopian food and the menu when we arrived - which we noticed that other tables got from other staff. A pity because, as I say, most of the food was interesting and tasty.

10/10Lovely place and excellent food. Wonderful friendly staff. The best Ethiopian food around. The only place I can get Vegan and Gluten Free home cooked food which doesn't upset my system.

7.5/10The food is delicious, the spicy chicken in particular was amazing. Not everything listed on the menu was available and the poor disabled access are the only real flaws. I would definitely go again if in the area.
