10/10Once again, a great dining experience, enhanced by an improved, more extensive menu. My pig cheeks and sweet potato mash was fantastic, with melt in the mouth pig cheeks, and a huge portion - so perhaps no starters for me next time, if I want to finish it at the restaurant. The Mozambique prawns were a raved about hit, as well as the seafood soup. All in all, a great evening was had by all 4 of us. Recommended.

5.5/10Went there for a Easter dinner with my family, unfortunately our experience was not too positive. First of all, the ambience of that restaurant was that of a dining hall, seemingly attracting more locals (the big screen TV showing football on one of the walls might have to do with that) than people looking to try Portuguese cuisine. The lighting and table setup gave me a rather "inelegant" impression. Our waiter was an older gentleman who was friendly enough and served us in time, however he seemed rather weak of hearing (no offense to him), as we had to repeat everything we ordered multiple times. Wether in English or Portuguese, he had to have everythign shown to him on the menu to understand what we wanted. I don't think we mumble, and the restaurant was not too loud. I ordered a Cuba Libre which honestly was the worst I've ever had – too sweet, too sour, nothing refined about this 7 or 8 pound drink at all. The white wine was ok, but not outstanding. The starters were nice. The main courses left a lot to be desired. I ordered my steak medium, it partially reached well done, I think. Because I was quite hungry, I cleaned up my plate, but the others all did not enjoy their food very much (Pork, Octopus, Swordfish). We decided to not risk further disappointment and drove to a dessert place elsewhere to cap off the night in a more positive way. Sadly, this dining experience was one of the poorer ones.

9.5/10Went on Sunday for a family dinner with my daughter who has coeliac disease. The food was absolutely incredibly delicious and exceeded all our expectations! Big portions too. The waiter was very kind and understanding about my daughter's need for gluten free food, though I had to show him the coeliac card in Portuguese to ensure I was communicating her requirements adequately. We would absolutely go back for the great food.

10/10Very authentic. Simple but tip top quality. Great value for money. Super staff. Lovely to be able to eat outside on their back terrace and smoke without troubling others.

9.5/10Went with a friend and had a very good three course meal, accompanied by a very good wine from their extensive list. The service was welcome and courteous. The food is Portuguese with some originality. Have already booked my next meal. ????

10/10The food was excellent we had a really good time. Staff was amazing too. I recommend having the bread it's amazing and the meat delicious! We ordered octopus and it was perfectly cooked!

9/10The grilled chorizo starter and Monkfish & prawn skewers for the mains were fantastic, but found the bread/meat sausage starter a bit bland. Our staff member who served us was lovely.

9/10It's a calm modern dining space with friendly efficient staff. Food was fresh and beautifully appetising. Only oversight was not claiming the 20% discount on the ala carte menu offered by The Fork on this booking. But prices are reasonable. Recommended.
