Noisy and loud, so hard to shout to hear my friend talk. Service was very quick and our waiter was good. We had the Ribeye 300g steak which was nice but did not rest long enough as the juice was still running on the plate. Also, our steak wasn't seasoned enough, although the meat was very tender and juicy.

8/10Food was good, service was excellent but hardly surprising as it’s a big restaurant and including our table there were only 8 people in there. Not their fault of course but obviously the atmosphere was non existent.

5.5/10I have business lunches in the city weekly and am a big fan of steak. It was my first time at M Threadneedle. I ordered the rump and the way it was cooked as well as the flavour was nowhere near the same quality of restaurants in the area. I also found it strange that they had no healthy side option, only chips. I would probably not visit again soon.

10/10Lovely restaurant, great fit out and really nice menu for breakfast. Service was excellent - upstairs has nice private room feel and bar / restaurant split downstairs. Quiet, great service, great for meetings. And the toilet - have to go and see that!

8.5/10The truffle tortellini and beef dumplings were exceptional. The other items incl rump steak , beetroot rosetti, boar tortellini were also quite nice. 2 observations: perhaps also have a different type of pasta as the special was also a tortellini; Without the fork discount it is rather overpriced meal.

7.5/10Very pretty restaurant and great staff! Food was quite tasty but small portions. Was expecting a couple small pieces for the fried chicken but was only two small pieces, sauces that came with it though was fantastic. Dumplings had a good number, I think about 6 but the meat inside was a little dry. I had the pork which was amazing. The steak was quite nice but looked quite sad alone on the plate ( would have been nice to have a small side salad on it) we did get chips but it came separately so it was one small steak in a huge plate 😅 Overall it was nice but a little bit expensive

I believe the gentlemen on entry seemed to be hard of hearing and it made the encounter feel quite awkward and rude at the start. The staff should be checking on tables and asking for top ups of simple things such as water. Especially when service charge is so high we would expect some service. The flavour profile of the food really wasn’t to our taste, we can appreciate the quality of meat used yet the flavours for the chicken and pork main were just very charred tasting. The dishes lacked a consistent image when you compare to other high end restaurants. There wasn’t a single dish we truly enjoyed which was disappointing. If you like British deep earthy and charred flavours you will like this place. On an Asian palate this just wouldn’t suit and wouldn’t be worth the money.

6/10The celebration menu was a very good deal for £49.50 with 90mins of bottomless bubbles. However, I wasn't particularly blown away by the food and would say it was okay. We had bread to start off with, which had to be set back as wad frozen in the middle still! Over all I would say it is average on what we had. The restaurant decor is very nice, modern, wasn't to noisy and you could have a conversation.

3.5/10The service was dreadful. A really quiet night, four tables in the restaurant. They took 15 mins to bring us our bottle of champagne. They bought the starters out then took them away before serving them. They then explained as our main course arrived that the red wine we ordered ( which should have been opened to breathe well before our food arrived) was out of stock. We bought a different one which should have been opened much earlier. The chips didn’t arrive until we were half way through our main course, despite being asked for three times . For a £600 meal in a quiet restaurant the service was rubbish.

The staff felt rushed off their feet and struggled to keep up - eg glass of wine took 15 mins to come, wrong tea brought after meal and after we were finished they asked us if we were ready for our main course. It was also very loud - the private dining room overhead was super noisy and had no sound control.

3.5/10What a huge disappointment lunch was today. Terrible service throughout despite numerous useless staff buzzing around. Drinks arrived that hadn’t been ordered, bread came and was then taken away. As a result a vastly below average lunch had to be rushed. Also on a personal note, I don’t think the music, which was too loud, is appropriate in a formal city restaurant at lunch time.

3/10Non existent service, mediocre food, high prices. For a table of 5 we struggled to get any service and even to get the bill. Food order was late and they forgot the sides. Some dishes were cold (been left standing in the kitchen as poor service. Would not return.

2/10The table was booked and confirmed 2 times and a remnder was received the day before but when we come to the restaurant it was dark and closed. We was very disapointed and when to another kind and friendly nearby restaurant. No more M booking from our side.

10/10Had the most wonderful time here with a friend. Friendly welcome, lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and excellent food. The £40 deal with 3 courses and bottomless Prosecco was worth every penny and I’ll most certainly be back. Thank you!

5.3/10Service was really poor. Was there for just under 3 hours. Wasnt offered water for at least 1hr 30 into our meal. The time between courses was also extensive. Really dissapointing experience.

10/10Great service & food, we were well looked after and the free flowing Prosecco certainly flowed, we were served a tasty "Snack" followed by three excellent courses, couldn't fault any of them, very tasty and enough to be satisfied (one of my colleagues couldn't finish her desert, and I just had to help...)
